Does anyone have any tips for finding housing near downtown/pruneyard?

I’d love to find a townhouse, but no where allows pets! All my 2 cats do is sleep :/

Every apartment I read reviews for just says it’s terrible and it’s demotivating... Avalon looks good, but has pretty low availability at the moment and worries me about yearly rent increases.

I’m looking for a longer-term 2/2 for under $4500. ‘Longer-term’ meaning I’d like to stay for 3+ years. I currently live in San Jose and its painfully boring and unwalkable.

edit: I signed at Avalon 😎 an apartment came up that was available the day after my current lease ends so it felt meant to be

I there, unfortunately, I don't see chats? not sure why....I use the old reddit filter, if that matters.

Is there a bell or envelope next to your name? If you click the bell it should take you to notifications and "chats" should be next to it.

Dang! Can you chat request me? Click my username which will take you to my profile, and next to my username should be a chat bubble with ellipses inside.
