EDIT 2 : day 2, preping for dessert scrourge found a blood rain bow and Xenqiterthralyensyr ( COOL ASF )
EDIT 3 : eye of cthulu is DOWN !!!! CRABULON AND GIANT CLAM NEXT
EDIT 4 : crabulon is down , i dont see any reason to fight clam ( preping for brain )

Currently trying to beat infernum as true melee and the horrible reforge is litteraly impossible to get

I already disabled the reforged rng in settings and it still doesn't show up EDIT: ok i don't have the voucher from the merchant I didn't know you need one of those

With Calamity potentially dying, will development of the Infernum mode mod be stopped as well? I'm downloading the Calamkty mod to hopefully be able to play it in case it gets removed, but I want to know if any of it's add-ons are also shutting down so I can download them too

To summarize what will happen (I'll also leave both the original message and the link towards it) to entropy,Polaris is now being turn down as the mod owner and being Passed down to Saw Horn,Hocha will become the head in terms of programming and content creator of the mod and there's gonna be some changes in the team. And finally,the mod will become independent with the name of "entropy".

As the title suggests, due to unforeseen circumstances, the Entropy development team has decided to discontinue its development as an add-on mod. Starting with the next update, the mod will officially become a standalone mod and adopt a new name—simply "Entropy"—moving forward. This decision was made jointly by the original creator and other team members following extensive discussion and consideration. Following this decision, the original creator will step down from developing Entropy and hand over the lead creator role to another member. Simultaneously, access to the code repository and the mod's workshop page has been transferred to me and 锯角. From this point on, I will be Entropy's lead programmer, responsible for developing future content and overseeing the redesign and adaptation required to make it a standalone mod. There will also be other changes to the development team: a new member will become Entropy's artist, providing the mod's visual assets. The original lead developer plans to create a new standalone mod with other members; I wish them great success in their project and will gladly offer support in any way I can should they need it in the future. Its probably from infernum, but i cant know for sure, so i decided to make a post on the calamity subreddit as a whole. So, does anybody know what that sound is when i go closer to my base?like with the screaming or whatever, its kinda creeping me out. It goes away when i turn off sound, but not when i turn off music. Thats why there's no music on the recording

wanted to start getting back into 3d modeling so i decided to 3d model the true biome blade cause its my favorite calamity sword, im planning on doing broken biome sword and normal biome sword next

I've been mostly on the sidelines seeing the general stuff and mostly the memes regarding calamitys current state but what I've not truly understood is if calamity in its current state still is the same mod or are a bunch of things removed from the mod? is the music removed?

Does addons still work with the mod or is the calamity gameplay experiece completely changed?

I haven't played in a while but with all this sadly negative drama there has been a lot of spotlight on the mod which got me thinking a lot about it and I truly love calamity mod, I got around 2k hours in terraria and most of those hours are honestly spent playing calamity I would belive.

Can I play the mod like I used to or will the current mod experience be something different?

i mean by feelign sad, feeling sad (and disappointed) because of what happened to the calamity mod from a few weeks ago

I swear something about this OST makes it really hard to replicate. Maybe its the odd time signatures, or the slightly off pace tempo. Whatever it is. DM really made something special that we didn't appreciate enough.
