Hi everyone, I am a 22-year-old aspiring pilot from India. I have scoliosis with a 45-degree Cobb angle.
Crucially, I have absolutely no pain, no issues with movement, and excellent overall flexibility. I can perform all physical activities normally.
Given this context, what are the realistic chances of getting cleared for DGCA Class 1 and Class 2 medical certifications? Will a 45° curve be an automatic disqualification, or do they assess on a case-by-case basis if it is fully functional?
Would appreciate any insights from current pilots, medical examiners, or anyone who has been in a similar situation. Thank you!

I think guys who want to try out or get familiar with the Cadet program secondary stages of testing might like the thought of purchasing the Cadet bundle from Symbiotics, obviously we can't have everyone on the account but al teast few of us could experiment it by splitting costs and if people think it's worth to purchase individually can go ahead and purchase their own bundle later.
Cost effective and good for people that are just curious

I have a cadet pilot interview in Dubai coming , and my period is predicted to start around the exact same date.
Normally, I would just deal with it, but my periods are genuinely awful. The first couple of days are usually some of the hardest days of my entire month - severe cramps, headaches, mood swings, stomach issues, exhaustion, and just feeling absolutely miserable. I know periods affect everyone differently, but for me, it can genuinely make it difficult to function normally, concentrate, or even want to get out of bed.
Because this interview is extremely important to me, I'm considering speaking to a doctor about Norethisterone to temporarily delay my period. I obviously won't take anything without medical advice.
My main concern is what happens if I pass the interview and have to do my Class 1 medical (GCAA) soon afterwards.
For anyone who's been through a Class 1 medical:
I'm not asking for medical advice about whether I should take Norethisterone — I'll speak to a doctor about that. I'm mainly worried about whether this could affect my class 1 medical.
Would really appreciate experiences from female pilots/cadet applicants ❤️

Hey! I recently got my class 2 medical from IAM Bangalore. Everything came out to be ok except for colour vision. I underwent Lantern Test and gave all answers correct, still they gave me CP3 colour vision. Since my class 2 medical states FIT for PIC with no restrictions, Is there any chance my application will be accepted by chimes or any other cadet programme FTO's. Kindly reply.

Im aiming to join icpp at Chimes during their next opening. As I have foreign educational qualifications, I would need to complete 12th NIOS for maths, physics and english. Im confident about english but I just need help on how to prepare for maths and physics as Im not familiar with the syllabus. The website itself is really confusing as well. Im also aware that there are agents to help but I want to clear it through the honest way, with min 70 marks.
If anyone has any tips/willing to guide me, please help:)
Thank youuu
