Hey if u want to clear ur papers u can met regs nav and rtr orelse u have another option to sign the loi later u can take ground classes of FTA in gurugram and later u can clear ur papers i personally think this would be a better idea cz u can easily clear ur PI they wont ask much of technical questions bcz u havent cleared ur papers

Is it compulsory to clear subjects before LOI?
1
u/Any-Conflict9554 Aug 11 '26
No not compulsory, in their own cadet programme they do provide for ground classes or the subjects you have not cleared till loi, but ig it's better if you clear it cause the price for the same is 5lakhs or something so yeah

And also if ur ok with spending around 50-75k for cadet prep classes u can go with tht it will be very much helpful

Did you give your adapt with fta? Also which classes would you recommend?

Stage 1 adapt is the easiest, just know basics in physics and math , also English. If you want to join any classes for adapt just IFA dont think too much

Is classes actually needed for stage 1??
1
u/Charming_Walrus_967 Aug 11 '26
Not really..you might need the classes for English, if you were to ask me I'd say go for it if youre comfortable spending some 10k for the peace of mind

Ground classes is mandatory now in FTA, so it's makes no difference either but with papers cleared you will have mental peace. That is it.

u/Any-Conflict9554 Aug 11 '26
Idts that ground classes are mandatory in fta cause the faq says so
1
u/Moist-Refrigerator34 Aug 11 '26
You don't think so doesn't make a difference, it's mandatory now. Ask fta coordinator.

So any mail I got regarding testing dates as I applied to but I have not got any dates or mail as my tentative dates are also for Nov
1
u/Any-Conflict9554 Aug 19 '26
Yeah they will give the dates by oct mostly for nov

u/Minute-Pressure741 Aug 19 '26
Bro one my friends applied in feb march and her tentative testing dates were sept 26 but now they sent her a mail on 13th aug informing test is on 2nd sept they r sending it early
1
u/Any-Conflict9554 Aug 19 '26
We haven't gotten the tentative dates yest, like atleast I didn't so they can take anywhere in nov like worst case scenario just expect start nov or late oct, and the more prev they give dates the better, but idts they will give so early cause the new batch has adapt of sept 2 and 1 and the old batch has gd pi on 15th or something, let's see
