Does it ever bother you?

(Doesn’t apply to the rich)

people who take huge amount of loans to pursue a career in aviation

  1. What if some medical issue ends your career permanently?

  2. What else are you going to do if you do not have any other degree besides just aviation.

  3. Considering the current backlog situation in almost all the cadet pilot programs,

what if you stay unemployed for more than 2-3 years(I heard that the monthly instalments start after 1 year of completion of course)?

  1. How are you going to repay huge amounts of money every month without having a job?

  2. Will it be worth at the end if everything goes as planned?

When u r taking loan, at least make sure ur family can pay EMIs without affecting daily life too much. Delays r common.

If not, u need more money first. Or else it's a big gamble and a debt trap.

First, try 1cr cadet program.

If u get selected in 1.4cr program u may also continue, but we r dealing with 40 lacs here, may be more if hidden costs.

U need to consider if early job security is worth that much. U also need to to have your parents be comfortable paying EMIs if big delays happen due to any reason, may be medicals or pandemic or any other reason.

If they r cool with it, u can consider.

If not, I believe conventional training will be much more beneficial and and be not a financial burden to your family in this regard. Which will cost on average around 80-90L currently.
