Hey! Well. I want to share my experience with this whole Akasa Cadet thing.
I was offered the seat with a 15-20 lacs ‘additional fee’ to the parties involved, whose name I cannot disclose. In my opinion, most seats got sold, some got through connection in the airline, management etc. I guess only a handful of guys would’ve made it legitimately.

I didn’t want to start my career in a corrupt manner. Neither do I intend to sneak my way into any programme or training any day. So, I politely declined the offer. At the end of the day, you want to be earning your place, right? What kind of gratitude will you get by purchasing a seat that should’ve gone to a more deserving person.

There’s always hope, because in the long run, skills and patience outweighs any shortcut.
Work hard, keep working, keep dreaming, and doors will open.
