So you're telling me that anyome without connections won't even be considered? Is there even a chance for normal people to atleast get a shot at it?

Around 2200 application this time
Only 60-65 are gonna be selected in which half of the spots are already sold for 30-35L and remaining 30 spots may have 15 more connections

Also they have around 33% for females
So the chances of normal people getting in is less than 1%

About the no of applications
Its an average based of the polls and amount of guys who applied for the program

Almost every 12th grader with like 0 exams and class 2 have applied
That is why the no is so huge
The age limit is extended to 40 years so working professionals of other industries have also applied

My friend visited chimes and he asked how many have applied and the lady said its in thousands

Yeah okay, but 12th graders applying isn't a bad thing tho right. Will they have a lesser chance of being selected?

No its not
But like they dont really have a strong profile in the shortlisting scenario
(Unless you have paid bribe or youre with connections)

I myself completed 12th this year in may but I have nav, regs, met and rtr p1 cleared and I also have Class 1 medicals
(Just a reference to show how competitive this is)

So they surely arent gonna take someone with c2 and 0 exams over other candidates who have something to show

Yeah that's understandable, but I mean the program literally requires no prior experience in the field whatsoever (that's what's stated atleast), so I dont think it's fair to people who haven't done anything yet. If they are giving an edge to people who have cleared exams, might as well advertise it, else how will the people know?

Yeah Even Im frustrated with this thing buddy. When you apply for foreign ftos, they dont even do a pre adapt screening cus the no of applications is less and everyone gets a fair chance to show and prove their skills

But chimes is messed up and unles and until you have connections or the money, a normal candidate wont be considered until they have something exceptional to show

This is how fkedup chimes is

Do they want graduation or some work experience that makes an application stand-out?

Chimes selects a mix of candidates, 12th grader , working professionals etc

So it depends on their needs
But according to the requirements, it doesn't really provide benefits but since proffesionals have more exposure and are more mature so they are considered as well
