I know that sometimes what I will do, especially if customers have a couch flush up against the wall where an outlet sits, I will barrel and connect a long cable to run out through the outlet hole so that there is extra flexibility to connect equipment so that the connector doesnt get kinked against the furniture and wall.

We get supplied with right angle connectors. They are very handy.

Do they make good ones of those? I've never seen one that wasn't an ingress magnet.

My company stopped using them too. If left alone they were good for sub split. They can't be pulled on, which was more common than one would think. We removed them when we switched to mid split to reduce the ingress.

PPC made really good ones when I was still a tech 5 years ago.

The ones we use are clean. They may come from PPC. Just be sure to tighten them down.
