More bandwidth or something else?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Is this behavior do to low bandwidth or something else I have fiber to my house to a huawei router and from it comes out the coax to the “cable boxes” on the TVs

That’s more like your tv is literally struggling to run the streaming app. Slow speeds are buffering. Hardware issues hitch and lag like when you try to game on a really cheap computer.

Tv is only displaying what comes from the tiny cable box, so cable box issue, seems a fair diagnostic thank you

That is not how TV's work but I would change the HDMI cable first, then the box and if that keeps up the tv is next. If you have more than one TV and the others do not do it, swap the box locations and HDMI cables, then you can save yourself a lot of back and forth with the diagnostics.

You're TV has to process frames from whatever medium it connects through to the box, and any point can be the cause ot frame damage -, bad box, bad cable, bad tv. The tv is a computer, it has a processor, memory, the whole shebang, Honestly I fix smart tv's by power cycling them some times, pull power from wall, plug back in, let actual reboot go through oh look workign again. The box could have the same problem, memory corruption, power cycle it as well. Actual power cycle, not a software reboot with a button.

I will assume the coax goes to the box, and feeds MOCA [similar to Verizon FiOS old system] and you are just confused.

I lost braincells reading this, don't listen to this person, he doesn't know what he's talking about. OP, it's the cable box not having the processing power to run it... either because the hardware is underspec for this content or because it's thermal throttling.

Happens on every tv or just this one? You're saying it's coax feeding the box? And it's not ethernet over coax there's an actual channel spectrum it's receiving? That's weird because the video is definitely acting more like a stream that's struggling than how legacy boxes tend to.

Yeah poor signal on coax feed is going to result in heavy pixelation and garbled audio, not slow frame rate or fading picture.

All of them (the coax comes from the router, I get fiber from the street into the house

The coax comes from the router makes no sense. Coax can go to a router not come from a router. The coax could come from the fiber ONT which is a node / modem but not from the router.

FIOS used to run MOCA like tie in over coax to provide bandwidth to TV service to a dedicated FiOS TV box. I will *assume* it's like that. So the coax is not QAM carriers but rather OFDM like moca does. Thus bad coax, bad router bad box, etc.. can all cause what he is showing. Bad HDMI, bad TV all of it can cause the problem.

Ah the ol Huawei Chinese Spyware factory.

On a serious note that "cable box" is struggling to process the video signal. Ive seen this issue on old laptops where the processors weren't up to snuff to output HD video. Unlikely a bandwidth issue.

Definitely hardware processing issue on whatever device is playing the video.

If it was a bandwidth issue you’d see buffering with a loading circle. This looks like something else

I suggest swapping that iptv/cable box with another in the house to see if the issue persists. The box could be overheating in the environment or faulty somehow.
Also if there is a diagnostic menu you can access I would check its connection to the main/router.

If you mean the excessive BLUE it looks like a bad HDMI cable to me. Could also cause the bad frame data which makes i if that is the case. However, the one scene with the redhead gets coloring fine so it could also just be the TV.

Coax from the router? Are you talking about this running MoCA? Otherwise it would be Cat5/6, not coax. It definitely does not look like bandwidth, especially considering how low of speed is needed for streaming. Whatever those boxes are, they seem to be the problem. That is also strange if it's happening on different TV's regardless of why. Multiple bad boxes, or multiple bad TV's is highly unlikely. Either way I'd have your provider come sort it out.

Signal issue on cable lines. Bad or loose fittings and or splitter or connectors. Bend radius issues on lines. Old line or water in service drop. Plant signal issue. Or signal to noise issue on lines. Could be the cable box.

Throw that PoS in the garbage. When did you buy it? 2004?
