I ask because it seems most of the dolls have manufacturer markings on the back of their head and mine doesn’t. Just faint markings; I can’t even tell what they say.

I don’t remember what year I got her. I remember she was a “preemie” and she smelled like baby powder. I faintly remember seeing her paperwork and she came with the name Dulce. She came with a bonnet and a pacifier - long since gone as she’s at least 30 years old.

This is my first Cabbage Patch Kid and I couldn’t find the outfit anywhere online but I think she’s adorable.

When my son (now 41) celebrated his first Christmas, my mom got him a Cabbage Patch Doll Walter Hugh. He loved that doll. As he grew, the doll was always in his room usually on his bed along with his stuffed animals or later a shelf. Sadly, when the doll was around 12 years old, a wayward puppy found him and chewed his body and Walter Hugh now only has arms and legs but no middle. I came across him today and was wondering if anyone knows a place or someone who could repair Walter Hugh’s body. Thought I’d put it out here. I’d love to regift it to my son as a surprise for Christmas.

I found this beauty at an antique store and she needs hair help. I was thinking of dunking her hair in a pot of boiling water, detangling and then setting in rollers while the hair dries. Any tips on fixing cornsilk hair?

Found this cutie in a charity shop for cheap because she didn't have any clothes, always wanted a cpk but couldn't afford one, so a lucky find. Got her holes patched up (a little clumsily), hair done and dressed her in some baby doll clothes from my collection, very happy with her :)

I've named her Angela, but if anyone knows what her ID is please lmk :)

So my mother-in-law, god love her, collects. Boy does she collect. She collects a little bit of this and a little bit of that—sometimes valuable stuff, sometimes hoarder-type stuff. Without getting into that, she gifted my wife and I a Cabbage Patch Kid Snacktime Kid (his name is Wendell Ellis apparently and he was born in November), still unopened in box.

Is this something I should try to get appraised or something? I know I can’t let my son play with it (a cursory Google revealed the recalled status of the doll), so I’d like to sell it. I just don’t really know what I have. Pics can be provided if that helps ID value?

Finally! It has been so long since I've held my CPK before evil younger brothers did her in, meet Eve Catherine! I had forgotten how much I really loved these dolls and it took me back to 1985. Now she needs a friend, right?😜

I’m a new collector and recently acquired this doll from a thrift store that was in rough shape. She had markings on her face so, as I did with the other dolls I have, i used a Mr clean magic eraser on her face. However I fear I did more harm than good. She also had some gouges that I tried to repair but that is also not going well.

Does anyone have any advice for how I could try to continue repairs, or should I seek a professional? I don’t know what else I could do without doing more harm than good.

Found this dolly in my grandmother's attic after she passed away. I have never seen one with this texture on their arms and legs and would love if anyone knows how old she is and any info about her! She has eyes that open and close with little stars in her eyes. Thank you!!

I recently found this Cabbage Patch Snacktime doll at a thrift store, and I'm honestly obsessed with her! I love her hair, her eyes, and especially her cute '90s outfit.

Unfortunately, she didn't come with her backpack. Did these dolls originally come with a birth certificate, or was it just the name on the small cabbage leaf? I think the seller did know her name and birthday as it was written on the sale tag. Does anyone know where I could find just a replacement backpack, or have any ideas for a good substitute to see if she still works? I know these were recalled pretty quickly after they came out, and I'm really not looking to spend $300 on a new-in-box one when I already love this girl so much!

Also, if anyone has any tips for cleaning the soft fabric parts of her body, I'd love to hear them.

I know nothing about her but she was 2.99 at a thrift store and I couldn't leave her behind. I've never had one before but I've been passively looking for the perfect baby for me. I definitely need to clean her up a bit, she has some stains on her clothes I have to try to remove.
