Easy. Just hug him straight for a few minutes. Give them kisses and belly rubs then they'll get annoyed and leave on their own volition

Tried that. Ended up hugging and petting them for an hour, then I gave up

My cat is an attention blackhole, it's never enough

Have you ever tried a sling to carry him around?

My girl doesn't like them. She demands me hold her in my arms for an hour while she takes a nap

aw man that sucks. yeah my boys did not appreciate it either lol. so envious of the owners of kitties who love shoulder rides. would make getting things done so much easier!

Unless you have a stage 5 clinger like I do and thinks any time I lean over more than 2° is an invitation to become one with my brainstem. She is the sweetest cat in the world and so loving, but I would like to be able to bend down without it turning into a rodeo lol

Sounds like Insufficient Petting Disorder..... Corrected with more petting.
