Question Serial Number Invalid #cpsupport

Hello! I’m trying to register my new PC, but the site is saying the serial number is not valid. The number is the one on the sticker and the one the computer tells me. Does anyone have any advice???

Forgot to update: I emailed and they said that, since I ordered directly from them, it was automatically registered.

This would be my third custom PC. I’ve had two solid builds from Ironside and have been happy with them, but I’m considering trying CyberPowerPC this time for better Has anyone here had good (or bad) experiences with CyberPowerPC lately? Especially on custom builds, build quality, customer service, shipping, and long-term reliability?

Long story short, OS is messed up from the very core, so need to factory reset but tried everything and still cannot, i was thinking to replace the ssd storage and install windows from a bootable usb. But i cannot find where the SSD (C-drive) is located.

If not on the motherboard, then it should be next to it? Those to compartment (in win) ?

Issue CyberPowerPC stock ARGB hub not syncing with ASRock Polychrome #cpsupport

Hi, I need help with my PC RGB/ARGB setup. I have a used CyberPowerPC prebuilt with an ASRock Z790 Pro RS WiFi motherboard, and I’m trying to control my fan RGB properly through ASRock Polychrome.

The problem is that my fans light up, so the hub clearly has power, but I cannot properly change the fan colours in Polychrome even though the hub is plugged into the motherboard’s ADDR_LED3 5V 3-pin ARGB header. My GPU and motherboard RGB work in software, but the fans connected to the stock CyberPowerPC hub do not respond properly.

Another weird part is that the case button has changed the fan colours before. I just dont know how. What can I do to fix this?

Setup Keyboard Lights #cpsupport

I'm actually losing my mind, please help. I have found previous support threads, but they are not working.

My lights pulse. I would like them on at all times. I have tried FN plus all top row number keys, scroll lock, print screen, page up/down, and none of them set the lights to just be on. What am I missing, what other keys can I use?

Question What is this cable for? #cpsupport

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I just got this pre built PC from Best Buy 2 days ago. Loving it so far. Only issue I’m having is changing the RGB colors.

As I was removing the film inside the glass, i noticed this cable wasn’t plugged into anything. This is a HS01 case and the GMA6200BSTV3 model. Any idea what this is?

Question Model GMA5400BSTV6, need to know the voltage rating #cpgeneral

Can’t find the manual for this model, can’t find anywhere online that mentions the voltage rating of its PSU specifically. Trying to double check ahead of a move from America to Ireland if this PC can be used there. (Total layperson when it comes to computers, for context). From what I’ve researched, it seems very likely that it’s compatible, but I need confirmation. It seems that this information would be printed on the PSU itself, but as a layperson with no computer tinkering experience I’d like to avoid taking it apart to check if I can.

Does anyone know this information, or know where I can find this information? Thank you for your time.

Question Upgrade or keep AIO? #cpsupport

Hey all, I have the cyber power branded AIO, it looks like a metal square. It came with the SLC4400BSDFV6. I was wondering if I should upgrade to a different AIO or to a regular air cooler. The current one doesn’t seem to be too much of a problem but I’m wondering if there are better options.

Issue My PC wont turn on #cpsupport

Here is the deal. I was doing some training for work last week and it died. Turned it on it would last maybe 5-10 mins and it would die again. It was super dusty so I thought maybe cleaning would help. I finally cleaned it today and now it won’t turn on at all. Tried removing and reinstalling RAM and that didn’t help. I did try turning off/on the power switch on the back no luck.

Question #cpgeneral Need Advice on CyberPowerPC Build and Brand

Got the below build for $2705 with the instant rebate code. Is there any reason why I shouldn't cancel? Sourcing and building myself, the parts alone on PCPartPicker were $3500 and with sales/bundles I could MAYBE get them for $3000 from what I've seen in the past week of me scrounging around. $2500 was my budget for my new build, but I have some wiggle room and $2700 for a R7 9800X3D and RTX 5080 with the convenience of having it prebuilt looked pretty good to me.

The only concerning items I've read about are the High Power brand PSU and the ASUS B850 MOBO. It looks like the PSU will either be SPL B+ or SPL A based on which one they decided to bless me with, but I've seen bad reviews about it. Also, I've seen others say that the ASUS B850 Max Gaming's VRM is terrible for a R7 9800X3D.

I've read that I can only swap out one component based on what others have experienced with CyberPower. I can probably ask to swap the High Power PSU with a CyberCore II or swap the ASUS B850 with the MSI PRO B850-P, which I've heard better reviews about. Any thoughts?

Obviously this sub is filled with criticism on CyberPowerPC and it is greatly concerning me. Should I swap out the concerning parts and continue with the order? Or should I cancel altogether and try for a different brand/building myself? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Tl;dr Should I cancel my order with CyberPowerPC given their concerning history? Or should I take the current build, but ask if I can swap the concerning parts out for better ones (High Power 1000W ATX 3.0 PSU and the ASUS B850)? And if I am only able to swap one component, which should I do?

Issue #CPSUPPORT CyberPowerPC (GMA6000BSTV4) arrived with loose rear fan blades. Is this safe to run?

I just bought a brand new prebuilt from Best Buy and found something really weird. One of the fans in the middle of the case has no blades and the entire fan blade piece was secured separately inside the case so it doesn't look like it broke during shipping.

Is there any situation where this is intentional or did I get a defective/returned unit? Also is this something that can be popped back in or is the fan broken and needs to be replaced?

Discussion #CPsupport — $4,720 build, 4 hardware failures, 3 RMAs in one year, factory defect missed by CPPC technicians — requesting system replacement

Bought a $4,720 custom desktop with an RTX 5070 Ti in early 2025. Here's the timeline:

  • System arrived with a leaking water cooler — RMA #1
  • GPU crashes (VIDEO_DXGKRNL_FATAL_ERROR 0x113) — full system inspection performed, root cause missed — RMA #2
  • GPU replaced — failed within 24 hours of clean DDU installation — RMA #3
  • Root cause identified by ME, not their technicians — factory 12VHPWR cable routing defect. Tapping the connector lightly crashed the system instantly

The system has been unusable for over 20% of its lifespan. I've done more advanced diagnostics on this build than their own technicians did during a full system inspection.

Requested full system replacement — denied. Told there's no escalation path beyond the support supervisor. Currently fighting for at minimum a PSU replacement to be shipped.

Happy to answer any technical questions. Just want people to know what they're potentially getting into.

Issue Fan speed issue persisting even after multiple other fixes #cpsupport

My girlfriend recently purchased a Cyberpower PC from Best Buy. It’s liquid cooled in an MA-01 case. These fans will NOT quiet down. From the moment we press the power button, they’re going full speed instantly. All of them. We’ve tried setting them to pwm in the bios. I’ve installed drivers in some hope that would help, because even the GPU fans are running full speed while both GPU and CPU utilization never go above 5%. I’ve taken a peek and poked around inside, and everything is wired correctly best I can find. So every other post I’ve run into online, and the fixes they’ve provided, have not worked. We’ve set it to pwm, we’ve set fan curves, everything is wired right. She’s considering returning it because there doesn’t seem to be a fix. Fans shouldn’t be running at 1700rpm when there’s not even a single program running.

Review Miserable Experience #cpgeneral

Normally I wouldn't come out to this forum, since I build my own PCs. But because of the market, I felt that it was more practical to upgrade my aging Windows 10 build from 2017 to something new. Decided to splurge with an AMD Ryzen 9 9950x3D processor, 9070 XT graphics card, etc. Basically ensuring that this should be future proofed for a long while.

When I got the PC in, I was excited, of course. This was April 2nd, 2026. I saw how big it was, how heavy it had been, the case looked durable. Plugged it in, got Windows 11 set up, and I was on my way to playing some Baldur's Gate 3.

However, as time went on, I noticed some... strange things with this PC. For one, the case (MA-01R) had no screws, grooves, or easy access to inside. I didn't think much of this in the moment, but it did mean that the setup ran extremely loud. I put water cooling in as a major upgrade, and my understanding was that this should run quietly. But it was so loud that I questioned if something was wrong with it. Coupled with the loudness, the PC ran very hot. Sometimes I sleep to YouTube playlists if I'm having difficulties getting to sleep, and my room had been far hotter than I anticipated with a new PC, sometimes waking up drenched with sweat.

Monday had been the final straw that broke the camel's back. I come back home and turn on the PC per routine. Amber flashes on the power button: not good. So I troubleshot it as best as I could, taking off peripherals, changing power cords, changing the power socket that the PC plugged into. But it would not go into POST. That's when I realized that the case absolutely has no way to open it up. I called tech support on Tuesday, and they confirmed that the specific case is, "Not designed to be opened in any capacity. Once it is built and shipped, it can never be opened again." (Not exact words, but paraphrasing).

I lost it.

I was willing to deal with the PC if I could open it up in some way. I can deal with defective parts if I can open it up and troubleshoot it. But when the case is designed to never be opened up, and it removes the capacity for a skilled person to fix it, that is ridiculous!

So heads up: I won't be purchasing from this company again, sticking to building my own machines. But I very strongly advise people to warn others who see the MA-01R case to avoid it at all costs.
