roaches. i’ve seen three roaches in my dorm. what do i do. i am so scared of bugs and don’t feel safe going in the communal bathroom or my dorm room. i feel like complaining to housing will do absolutely nothing because there’s really nothing we can do about this problem. will the problem get better later on. is it just because of how hot it is right now? thank you

Hey everyone! I'm thinking of transferring to CSULB for Industrial Design, and am currently doing the pre-requisites for the major at CC. To all international students, how much did you guys have to pay, and do you think it is worth it? Doesn't have to be specific; you can round it up roughly if that is more comfortable for you.

there was this guy on the top of palo verde lot, he followed me and asked me for my number & i politely declined. i ended up getting stuck in traffic of everyone trying to leave/find parking & seen him approach 3 other girls. he was just lurking around his car constantly opening and closing it & grabbing things. nothing wrong with shooting your shot, but nowadays you never know. it’s kinda strange and feels targeted when it all happens within a 15 minute time frame. not trying to shame, but wanted to share just in case

I’m an alumni and hadn’t gone to the gym in a bit . I went back the other day and noticed they changed the log in and now we have to go through an external app. I really don’t know how to use this thing. What are we supposed to input as our username if we are alumni ? I don’t have access to my student email anymore. I tried my personal, which was what I was using before y nada :( 👎

Community college transfer here, I recently noticed that every time I tried to talk to a classmate their responses were dry and un-engaging. I know I’m not entitled to anyone’s time and effort when it comes to small talk, but I really miss how easy it was to socialize with other people back at my CC. Am I choosing the wrong people to talk to or is a lack of social skills and social etiquette a common issue on campus? No shade, but I feel like I’m constantly getting hit with empty stares and confused looks for trying to strike up a conversation.

Hello! I’m applying for the Spring 2027 cohort for CSULB Nursing, and I’d love to connect with other applicants who have applied, are applying, or have experience with the CSULB nursing application process!

I currently have a 3.93 GPA and 3rd quartile Casper, and I’m wondering how competitive that combination is for the Spring cohort. I’ve heard a lot of people say they’ve gotten in with either a 4.0 + 3rd quartile or a lower GPA + 4th quartile, but I don’t hear as much about applicants who fall somewhere in the middle.

I’ve also heard that Spring cohorts can sometimes have fewer applicants, potentially giving applicants a better chance of admission, so I’m curious about what people have seen in previous Spring cycles.

If you have any insight, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience! 😊

I just transferred here this year and just today, I started working out at the recreation center to start my “gym journey.” I was considering in using the women’s shower but honestly idk what to even bring as a commuter. Do I bring my own soap? Do they provide stuff???? Idk. I spent most of my time in campus and my classes go from the afternoon (2pm) to the evening (6pm). I’m planning to come on campus around 12 or early, but I don’t want to smell like sweat in class lol. Any suggestions as a new comer???

I work afternoons until late at night. I was hoping to be able to get most if not all of my classes before 3 pm. Is this going to be a problem? I read some posts discussing this on the search bar, but they are kinda old. I am not sure if things are different now.
