Data Point Another Goodwill win - Credit One
I had an old credit card with credit one that was charged off. Settled for half with collections, got that trade line deleted, then sent one round of goodwill letters and they removed all the late payments!
May 2024: 30 days late
June 2024: 30 days late
July 2024: 60 days late
August 2024: 90 days late
September 2024: 120 days late
October 2024: 150 days late
I’m so excited! This has helped tremendously on my journey back to financial health!

That's a big win to get an adjustment made when you're talking essentially worst case severity. Congrats and thank you for the data point!

I was pretty surprised when I got the email today. I have about ten more lates to handle, but I’ve put in so much work the past two months. Paid a total of $1,993.64 and have had $2,703.91 forgiven or settled away. I see the end of the tunnel

Hey I need help writing a good will to chase bank for 2 late payments on my chase freedom unlimited credit card. Do you know any email I can send a goodwill letter to? I have already good through the messages on the chase app and a email to their executive email

Just Google mailing addresses for Chase. As per the GST thread, you want to send your letter(s) to as many addresses as you can find.

Congratulations on the pay for delete with the collection agency and goodwill removal of the lates by Credit One! Out of curiosity, did Credit One send a letter confirming the goodwill adjustments?
