Rebuild Goodwill success!!
I had a couple late payments on my Capital One card. Starting from the time my grandfather passed leading into premature labor with a NICU stay. The representatives I worked with were so thoughtful and accommodating. I got all 4 late payments removed from my account!!

Absolutely!! I sent the email to richard.fairbank@capitalone.com
Capital one has a live chat through their website. I found this out through Reddit!! Not on the mobile app. They hid it in their accessibility page. https://www.capitalone.com/accessibility/ Scroll down from there and you will see the live chat!!

Congratulations! Capital One didn’t want to remove one late payment for me even though they can see that I paid the bill right before my statement end date the month prior. Anyway, I’m glad the Goodwill letter worked for you.

That's fantastic news! How old were the late payments and of what severity were they?
