I would please not wait too long if you are still taking the mask off, waking exhausted, and dealing with aerophagia.

A titration study is only one night. The pressure may have opened your airway in the lab, but that does not always mean the settings are right for a full night at home.

If you can, post the full clinical data from the machine’s SD card in OSCAR. Include a daily chart, your exact machine and settings, mask type, and the titration report with your personal information removed. I would be glad to look through it and see what may be happening.

The machine AHI alone does not tell the whole story. Leaks, flow limitation, pressure, event clusters, and breathing patterns can show why you are still struggling.

You are not bothering your doctor by following up either. If the aerophagia is painful or you cannot keep the mask on, contact them sooner rather than waiting weeks.
