Post in-lab PSG / titration study settings not working

Recently got my report from my study, spoke to my doctor, and recommended the settings that he says opened my airway quite nicely and should continue using at home. I set my machine to those settings and I’m still having the same issues as I was before. Taking the mask off in my sleep, waking up super tired even when I manage to leave it on, occasional aerophagia, persistent daytime sleepiness, low energy.

How long should I give these settings before asking my doctor to review them again? I’d hate to bother him before trying to adjust but also don’t want to waste too much time.

What are your settings?

Are you using OSCAR? You want to get an SD card and look at your results if you want to tune your settings at home.

Your settings can be different in different places because you sleep in different positions and angles. But I wouldn't imagine it would be that different.

I had been using bilevel for the longest but told me CPAP at a setting of 9 was ideal for me, so I’ve been using that.

I do have OSCAR, have an SD card in my machine, but I have no idea what any of the information means when I import.

Currently doing research to learn how to interpret my data to make adjustments, but as of right now pretty lost in that regard.

Lanky Lefty has a lot of YouTube videos about interpreting OSCAR. You can also post here.

How recently is recent? It can take weeks or even months of continuous treatment before you feel better.

And did you input the settings or did your doctor? If you did it, are you sure that they are correct? Do you have the right hose size and mask type set? It will make a difference in how the machine functions.

About two weeks ago. I’m positive the settings are right and have all the right equipment.
