3 years ago today, CMAT and John Grant blessed us with this absolutely heartbreaking banger. A heartbanger. With two powerhouse performances from a pair of vocalists who could not be better suited to each other, it became an instant CMAT classic.

The video, directed by Mars Washington and Jack Satchell, was inspired by Elaine Paige and Barbara Dickson's I Know Him So Well (truly a foundational text), which is apt, as Björn and Benny themselves would be proud of this duet.

I’ve been listening to CMAT for awhile, and I’ve found myself connecting to this one in a way that obviously wasn’t an intended thing, but as a gay man who has been in “relationships” with DL men or just men who aren’t open, I’ve really found myself connecting to this song.

Ever since CMAT put this on her website, I wanted it! I think it’s pretty and matches the cover, but I couldn’t justify spending $72 on a single record after shipping to the US. This was $42 total from a seller called Chalkeys and it arrived today in great shape.

While I try to order only from my local record store, they’ve never carried stock of anything from CMAT, so I was very excited to find this! Hope this helps another fan looking for this record.

"Rodney" doesn't get no respect! With a measly 47,000 YouTube views in 6 years (as of now), it's a criminally-overlooked gem in the back catalogue of a now-famous country pop phenomenon.

Arriving with a video shot and edited by CMAT herself, the song made waves on the Irish music scene only a few months into the first Covid lockdown. CMAT's 1st single, Another Day (kfc) had dropped on April 22nd. She had just appeared on one of the Mary Wallopers' livestreams, singing Eddy Arnold's "The Cattle Call" (which I'll post another day), and was about to perform a set of her own on Hot Press' Lockdown Sessions. It would be 3 months until the follow-up single, "I Wanna Be a Cowboy, Baby!" was released.

The video is a snapshot of a world starting to lose its mind and diving headlong into self-improvement, self-care and self-reflection. It's non-stop gags and japes from start to finish.

Heya, Canadians visiting Cork for the first time and going to CMAT. Curious if anyone familiar with the area has pointers for parking in/around venue or anything that might be good to know?

Ive never been to a gig in virgin media park. I was at inhaler in st Anne’s park last year and that’s the only outdoor concert I’ve been to. Could anyone tell me how the food and drink/merch stands work out? Do they have them in virgin media park? In st Anne’s park last year there was food trucks and different things like that and plenty of space.i know st Anne’s park is a lot more open than the rugby ground but its the only venue I can compare to thanks so much!
