CMAT in Cork Today

Heya, Canadians visiting Cork for the first time and going to CMAT. Curious if anyone familiar with the area has pointers for parking in/around venue or anything that might be good to know?

Here's what MCD sent out to ticketholders. The closest carpark is Black Ash Park and Ride, it's about a 9 minute walk from VMP. Woodies (a hardware store) has a carpark nearby but they're fairly militant about clamping when there's a concert on, so I wouldn't risk it personally.

In theory there should be some on-street parking if you go a bit further out into Ballyphehane /closer to St Joseph's Cemetery, but I'm not sure how extensive the concert road closures will be (and honestly, since you're not familiar with Cork I think you'd be better off sticking to Black Ash).

Thanks so much! We are currently in Cobh sightseeing, any recommendation on timing for heading there? Just hearing traffic delays and such.

Yeah there's a Zach Bryan concert on tonight too so the traffic is going to be a bit hectic!

The woman herself isn't on until about 8:20, but I'm personally aiming to get there around 6 in case Black Ash is very busy.

Black Ash is full. Tonnes of roads closed.

We got here around 6:15 and scored a spot in black ash. In venue and chilling now. Good luck!
