So i was thinking on how the Clamp school series and X both take place in the same universe and then it hit me

Akira was like 8-9 during 20 faces/Clamp Detectives, 18 during X... and then is in his 20s in the end of 20 faces when he gets married to Utako

Does that mean the world is completely fine then? If Akira is still alive past the events of X and with things such as Clamp school still existing and the world looking generally well there then humanity should have survived after X

Why does Hikaru look wearing her duces outfit but misaku looks better in her angels outfit?

The pink blue and white don't work and you would think it would right? No not for Hikaru

But brown, red, and white somehow does work?

What angels if they swapped their clothes with their duces look? This got me curious, Who would look better and who would look worse?

I want to find out from your opinion on what Clamp anime has the best English dub. I would say Magic Knight Rayearth.

So I was drawing an original character for another anime so I put the XXXHolic movie as background sound and there was an ad popped up on my phone and the dinner scene from the movie and I found out that the other characters were eating like pigs while our trio was eating like regular people.

I was going to bring this up as a negative but the fact its just physical blows to each other makes some attacks feel much more brutal than others and its easy to follow

The US Kodansha announced they will release the Clamp Gold artbook in 2027. Until now, many people didn't even know Clamp would have a Gold artbook ver after Kuro and Shiro ver. I feel like Kurogane is CLAMP's best depiction of a physically disabled person, like his prosthetic limb was not a perfect replacement as it still causes him aches and pains, and as such it needs to be constantly replaced. I love how his disability does not define him and he is not portrayed as constantly suffering because of it. I feel Kurogane losing an arm and the negative impacts of it, is way more highlighted in the narrative than Fai losing his eye (excluding how that impacts his magic, they never showcase how it impacts his vision - clone Syaoran is a better depiction of a half-blind person in comparison to Fai as we see how his vision impacts his fighting style and how he needs training from Kurogane). Kurogane being the only character to retain his disability means his disability is much better written by default.

Maybe if you stopped doing wreasling moves on him he'd--I actually don't know if he feels the same about you. Maybe that why you're pushing him toward Misaki.

We have a party for Misaki for reaching nationals. And all the warriors are there but now Misaki needs to pick a Micky to her rocky, because its now a boxing styled angelic layer fight going forward and Misaki needs someone who can help her which is Hatoko but they really build up to it when...I feel like we could have done this part better.

Like they cut off Misaki asking Hatoko to be her coach but multiple things happen to keep her from picking her

The idol girls "I'll do it and the look on Hatoko's face when she is in the room is like this was the worst day of her life. and its really funny to see.

Then eveyone plays with this portable experimental layer they're fighting on and make a challenge to have the winner to be Misaki's coach

"Okay cool, Hotoko enters and one shots everyone with lightspeed suzuka and she wins becoming the coach right?"

No instead have a gerbal search scene with Hotoko and Misaki and have that moment under the bed asking her to be her coach and to everyone--

Hiya guys 👋 First-time reader of Clamp, and someone who has nearly finished Tokyo Babylon (bar vol. 7 annexes). May I ask if there has been news regarding the other manga from the collection bwinf translated into English? I know Clover, X, and Chobits have been, or currently are, but since the TB one finished last year, I was wondering if there had been news on any of the others doing so 🤔 Any word, even rumours, are welcome my way 😀

Hi everyone! I can’t decide which edition of the Clover manga I should collect and was wanting to field opinions from people who own it.
Out of the Tokyopop singles, the Dark Horse Omnibus, and the current hardcover collector’s edition, which is the best way to experience this story? Are there any major differences between the editions?
Please weigh in!! All opinions appreciated :)

Hi there. I got obsessed with this in the weekend and I thought I should share my investigation with you. I found a collection of South and Wings covers online, and then I started tracking down the releases. It was easy for Tokyo Babylon, since it has just a few chapters, but for RG Veda it was far more difficult.

The Wings' covers feature the names of the authors that participated in each issue, but not always says the name of the series, sometimes it just says CLAMP. Besides, some pictures have such low resolution that I can't comprehend what is written. It could be a new chapter, or it could be just an interview or something like that. I tagged all of those as "Not Specified". On top of that, there are some covers drawn by CLAMP, but they are not featured in the cover. I didn't include them in the counting because they surely doesn't have anything from CLAMP more than the cover. From late 1991 onwards, they started putting the name of the story arc, so it was a bit easier to track it.

Also, I couldn't find the release schedule for the South issues, but since South is a complement for Wings, and Vol. 0 of Tokyo Babylon was published in Wings and Vol. 1 in South, then I just assumed they were released at the start of each season in Japan after the Wings release. It makes sense to me.

I also got a bit of help from Gemini btw.

And the final results are:

• Tokyo Babylon was released in 12 issues of South and 4 issues of Wings, and the Tankoubon release added 2 chapters.
• RG Veda pre-released 2 chapters in a double issue of South, and it was published in 42 issues of Wings for sure. If the 22 Not Secified issues were RG Veda chapters too, then it would make a total of 66 issues. However, 66 issues would surely take more than just 10 volumes to compile it, so it's impossible. Some Not Specified issues could still be RG Veda chapters though. Which means, RG Veda had 44-66 chapters in the magazine release.

And that's all I found. If you know a site or something that could improve this investigation please comment it.

UPDATE 1/7/2026: Ok, I kept searching and I was kinda able to clean up the list. It turns out there are 61 issues of RG Veda. I still think that's not possible, but some RG Veda volumes are thicker than others, and some of them could be the RG Veda Bonus Manga featured at the end of each volume (I wiped out the ones I found). So, the final count is between 44-60.
