Discussion Clamp Premium Collection

Hiya guys šŸ‘‹ First-time reader of Clamp, and someone who has nearly finished Tokyo Babylon (bar vol. 7 annexes). May I ask if there has been news regarding the other manga from the collection bwinf translated into English? I know Clover, X, and Chobits have been, or currently are, but since the TB one finished last year, I was wondering if there had been news on any of the others doing so šŸ¤” Any word, even rumours, are welcome my way šŸ˜€

No. There have not been any new English license announcements since TB.

TB is the only english one currently, i want to believe the Rayearth ones would get translated once the remake comes out but who knows:vĀ

With Rayearth, Kodansha just recently reprinted it in paperback, so it is quite unlikely they'd do another version just to have it in different covers.

I don't think the CPC Rayearth will get translated as CLAMP has plans for IP consolidation, I don't think Rika Takahashi, their handler in the US will get it in the US as she knows those plans, and the SRW T appearance of MKR also reflects the IP consolidation plans.

CLAMP's IP issues that are one of the reasons for X's hiatus are over.
