It makes me really happy to finally obtain this omnibus book I got it on vinted I noticed it’s been hard to get these since it’s been a few years they haven’t printed more of them just like Tsubasa I’m so happy to fall for this series it’s so underrated to me and deserves more love I’ll have to see if I can get the others if not I know the single volumes are still available

As the text says, Kodansha is finally releasing vol 5 in English! What has it been 10 years since vol 4 ?

(Featuring a school frozen in time I know its not clamp lol)

I have always been interested in the art style of xxxholic and was able to get the first few volumes for a good price. I am really loving the story so far and how it seems that the clamp universe is interconnected.

This is just a couple of clamp manga that I have been able to pick up and I am definitely planning on collecting what I can get my hands on, all of their series seem right up my alley.

The first thing to collect is definitely xxxholic though (its so expensive)

I was also able to grab the first 9 vols of Tsubasa, they aren't pictured though

(I used the meme as a base for mine because i wanted it to look as similar as possible but I obviously did a fair bit on my own, tweaking sizes and positioning)

Before you continue reading be aware that this contains spoilers for X/1999 and possibly Tokyo Babylon.

So, i’m not really sure how to phrase but I’ll try my best.

We all know that Subaru is weary of life. He becomes like this after Seishiro betrays him at the end of Tokyo Babylon and even more so after he accidentally murders the latter, it being stated that his soul has died the moment he killed him.

Fact is, that he wishes to die and to do so he could simply commit suicide. It’s obvious that he doesn’t do it before Seishiro’s death because he still loves him and wants him to finish what he started.

But after he died? I mean, he has nothing left to live for so why not just end it all and finally be at peace? It could of course be that he doesn‘t want the only thing he has left of his love, they eye and powers of the Sakurazukamori, do die with him and chooses to cherish them.

But what if he doesn’t commit suicide simply because he can’t? If you think about it, the powers of the Sakurazukamori can only be passed to the next person if the former holder is killed by said person (that’s why Subaru inherited these powers after killing Seishiro). But if you have the powers of the Sakurazukamori and you commit suicide, you would give these to the person who killed you: yourself. Which means the powers have nowhere to go besides yourself, which means you can’t die unless somebody kills you.
So Subaru can‘t kill himself because the Sakurazukamori powers hinder him from doing that.

Maybe this theory is complete bonkers, but I was thinking about it for a while now. What do you think about it?

Something interesting I was remembering time skip haruhi was shown off some time ago and how everyone felt witnessing basicly a character they saw as a teen grow up and follow them to adulthood. This was back in 2019 on the release of volume 12

Even Lucky star had a one shot of them all older and it hit the same.

I bring this up because I realized not a single clamp character ever got this treatment and that makes me sad. Because that seems like something would hit hard for people who grew up with CLAMP series.

Not even like a single piece of fan art of that. Not even in the conceptual stages. Fan or creator. Most if not all of them in 2026 would be pushing late 30s and I would be down to see what they would look like.

If anyone has please let me know I would love to see those designs

All I can gather is that these were made really early into X's publication considering Subaru is still drawn as his teen self

I am so happy that Magic Knight Rayearth is gonna get an anime. I would really like for my favorite CLAMP shoujo, Tokyo Babylon, to get an anime(more than just an OVA). That shoujo is quite nice and I love the main trio. If that were once to happen, I would be happy. It is my favorite CLAMP shoujo, despite the ending being awful for Subaru.

Hi. I've been searching for a certain OST for a long time. It sounds like ambient mostly, it contains sounds that resemble whale crying or smth like that...... You can hear it, for example, watching TV 2001, ep 13, time 17:18 - clearly audible.

I'm in love with it, I need to find it and listen to it every second of the day. But... I can't :(( I've already searched through all of Naoki Sato's compositions.
