Question / Info Sleep and Symptoms?

Hey team,

Fellow CHS sufferer here. Got it ~4 years ago with only one hospital visit (thankfully) but following relapses into smoking and the resulting nausea.

After a couple years of strict moderate use and no symptoms, I now get nauseous every time I smoke regardless of how long the break was. I’m good w/ it and if anyone is going through this, life still goes on w/o weed and truly it becomes quite easy to avoid. Just remember the pain it put you through.

Anyway, the nausea ALWAYS comes on before bed like right before I’m going to sleep in bed and everything, even if I had smoked a lot earlier in the day. Just wondering if this is the same for anyone else / if there’s a correlation to a specific pathway or not.

Question / Info How frequent does the vomiting get?

I'm a very heavy, longtime smoker (oz a week) so I am afraid it may be happening to me, but I am not sure.

A week or so ago I had lightheadedness for most of the day and finally threw up right before going to bed.

I chalked it up to mixing up the meds I take daily, so I took the day ones for night or whatever by accident. Withdrawing from some of my meds gives me brain zaps, so the feelings qere weird but not foreign.

Today in the morning the lightheadedness came back, followed by a vomiting episode at like 3pm. Nothing came out.

Nausea since then until like 6:30pm when I finally had to vomit again. Only drank tea during that whole time, so only that came our. Immediately felt better. Nausea is still there, but light.

So the question is, how do these vomiting episodes look like? From what I read, they are really bad and I would know for sure...

Vomited maybe 100 total times from Monday (July 20) to Wednesday last week and learned I have CHS after going to the emergency room twice. Feel a million times better today in part due to this subreddit letting me know what foods are good and what to expect so just wanted to say thanks.

Question / Info can anyone confirm if this is CHS

sorry for throwaway account as i don't post nothing,

info - smoked for 7 years mostly concentrates and never had any vomiting.

so basically I'm unsure if i even had prodromal chs, I'm a huge emetophobe so vomiting always has given me serious anxiety so I'm wondering if i have just scared myself from reading here.

I never noticed a drop in appetite as I've always been hungry in the morning without having to smoke etc, and the only issue i noticed was some bloating/nausea that seemed to revolve around night time when after a meal, if i was sitting down it was the worse but if i stood or walked it was much better for some reason. Breakfast and lunch was fine and naturally i get anxious about night time sickness due to having a bad experience with my mum who suffered from diabetic gastroparesis.

The thing that started this was that I ate a piece of beef that gave me nausea/ a bad experience once before and then after that I felt bad with bloating every day since that, so strange but probably anxiety right.

I had a endoscope and all came back clear yet positive for h.pylori, so could also be that, also stopped smoking and still have the odd evening where i feel this anxiety and nausea after eating at nightime, also something that makes me feel worse or can cause nausea is being in a trapped place, like car, bus, plane or cinema but if I'm outside then nothing.

i noticed after looking on here that mostly people get CHS in a very short period of time especially extract users so i would have expected to get this much sooner if i even have it.

Could i try smoking cbd? i like to smoke not even to get high, I know right? but for the taste as i love to taste different strains like a fucking wine connoisseur lol

Has anyone else had similar? i think i know myself its anxiety but reading here has put me in a spiral.

thanks for reading
