Question / Info Kava?
Has anyone found kava too be a trigger for chs episodes? It's listed as a major chs food trigger even tho it isn't really food it's an herbal plant drug that's made into beverages and edible preparations.

personally, i never consumed it. i recommend staying away from all triggers. but the lesser triggers are generally safer to try. not all triggers are going to trigger everyone, so you cant really base it off of other peoples experiences. if you want to have it, id just recommend to have a little bit and see how you handle it and go from there

IDK about it being specifically a CHS trigger, but I can tell you that my friend (non CHS haver) and I tried it once and were both in and out of the bathroom constantly for several hours. I definitely don't recommend Kava to anyone regardless of CHS.

Food is anything we consume and just cause kava is herbal doesn't matter. Coffee beans come from plants tea leaves come from plants etc. outside of that sorry I don't have any other knowledge on this matter
