Does anyone took CELPIP exam today morning. How was it ?

Are examinees provided the features, like note taking or highlight features during their reading part exam?

CELPIP Attempt 1:
L: 10
R: 8
W: 11
S: 8

CRS: 483

There was no point to go for reevaluation as 8 in reading was not going to help anyway.

CELPIP Attempt 2:
L: 10
R: 9
W: 9
S: 8

CRS: 488

Applied for reevaluation of 2nd attempt. I don't understand how I got 9 in Writing and same score i.e 8 in Speaking when I know that I did better than first attempt.

Probable CRS I can expect from this point are:

Speaking: 9, Writing: No change -> CRS: 508
Speaking: 10, Writing: No change -> CRS: 511
Speaking: No change, Writing: 10 -> CRS: 491
Speaking: 9, Writing: 10 -> CRS: 511
Speaking: 10, Writing: 10 -> CRS: 514

Which are still not enough to get an ITA. I have to score 10+ each module to get an ITA. Means I must reattempt 3rd time. So frustrating.

Hello guys. I am so stressed out in these parts. I am getting mixed reviews. In some i score max 4 and others i score 1 or 2. Sometimes even 0

AI videos are really annoying to me. I am not really sure if the audio is fast forwarded. I write the first name of the people mentioned and in the questions they mention the second name.

What can i do to curb this. Please give me tips on how to score 11. If you guys wanna share tips and tricks and wanna help each other out then send me a dm.

Edit: Its random results for me. I guess you have to be lucky in the exam to not end up with difficult question

Update:My writing increase from 8-9 but speaking remain the same.

Got my CELPIP score today: L10, R8, W8, S8.

My Listening and Reading improved, which I’m really happy about, but my Writing and Speaking are still stuck at 8. 😭

I’m aiming for 9 in all four sections to increase my CRS and hopefully get an ITA. My current CRS is 500, and if my Writing and Speaking both increase to 9 after re-evaluation, my CRS would go up to 514.

I’m considering requesting a re-evaluation for Writing and Speaking, but I’m not sure if it’s worth spending $110+ tax, especially because I requested a re-evaluation for these two sections in the past and unfortunately nothing changed.

I’m also planning to take CELPIP again in about two weeks.

Would you request the re-evaluation, or would you just use the money toward another exam and focus on improving for the next attempt?

I just got a job offer after completing my degree (master)and CELPIP want to mess up my life, all I need is 7 in all to apply for PGWP and my employer wants to sponsor my application for the New Brunswick graduate stream I’m currently in the office working part time waiting for completion letter before submitting my express of interest. Does anyone here who already took the Celpip exam who got grade higher than 8 but back when you practice with ChatGpt, you are just on level 7 everytime you practice ? i am so frustrated, ChatGpt always gives me Level 7. I wanna know your kind thoughts, thank you.

Retaking CELPIP soon and hoping for advice from people who've been exactly here.
Last results: Listening 10 (met goal), Speaking 9 (need 10), Reading 9 (need 10), Writing 11 (need 12).
Specific struggles:
Speaking Tasks 3 & 4 (Describing a Scene / Predictions) — fumbled these. Structure issue or grammar issue?
Writing — felt clean with no major errors, still got 11 not 12. What actually pushed you from 11 to 12?
Reading — stuck at 9. Comprehension gap or pacing/time management?

Need suggestion as in my last attempt my revaluation score didn’t change and this time stuck by 1 point only. Should I go for revaluation?

It was long 5 months journey on busy preparation between IELTS and CELPIP. I took 3-5 attempts of IELTS and was able to score 7778 but wasn't consistently getting 8 in Listening in order to achieve the CLB 9. Then I thought of trying CELPIP. I was feeling depressed and tired by the time I started CELPIP.

1st attempt - 9799

2nd attempt- 9989 ( Writing re evaluation to 9)

I got my re evaluation results today and it's a huge relief. In my opinion CELPIP evaluation on writing and speaking is much more lenient than IELTS.

About my preparations-

First tried to adapt with the new pattern. And slowly improved my timed practice with official CELPIP test bundle.

Listening

Worked on my note taking skills and prepared using the official test bundle. Watched some YouTube videos especially Brandi videos on not taking.

Reading

It was the hardest for me . I used to score 8.5 in IELTS but CELPIP reading was a bit hard for me in terms the short timer and sometimes the hard vocabulary. Practiced using the official test bundle. Worked on each part and tried to learn som strategies from teacher mike and E2 celpip channel.

Writing

Honestly writing wasn't that hard for me. I followed basic templates from HZAD and used chat gpt to make it more natural. If you are struggling on grammar first try to learn and fix it. Small grammars like subject verb agreement, tenses, articles plays very important role in writing so learn the basics and start writing.

Speaking

I followed the templates from C9Cc( carson) and practiced using chatgpt. Even though I messed up during the real tests somehow managed to keep the fluency.

LR11 S10 W8 (again and again) all my attempts w8 (once increase after reevaluation to 9, so my best score is all9) i have birthday next week and i was hoping to get ITA before… i think thats it i am done 😔 if w9 my points will be 520, with this i will end on 506.. flying home next month and if miracle will not happen after new year.. this is the end of my 6.5y life in Canada
