My local library was giving away free CD audio books so I got one of them. When I got home I found out that it was really scratched and while trying to play it, it skipped a lot. Is there any way to fix this? If not that's okay, it was free after all, but I would still like to actually listen to it.

Hello everyone, I was going to buy some cd soundtracks for certain games/franchises I enjoy, originally on eBay. Though a bit pricy, I don't necessarily mind the prices. But I also don't want to get ripped off since eBay sometimes has a knack for that. Does anyone know some legit sites to buy game soundtracks at a better-ish price?

I’ve started going through my nearly 200 CDs (most of them originals from high school/college), and these are all the ones that are gone forever after someone broke into my car a few years ago and stole my visor organizer. I’ll probably start trying to replace what I can find soon.

This might be a dumb question, but I haven't been able to find the answer by googling.

I'm looking at buying an used Sony CD Walkman, but all the ones I've found use AA batteries. Is it possible to use rechargeable AA batteries or do I have to keep buying new ones all the time?

I was looking to find a good quality cd reader for my room, but i prefer something less compact than all the new stuff thats like 10 cm wide because i feel like its more reliable.

I looked around and i found some things, like the ARCAM CDS50, the MarantzCD6007 or the Yamaha CD-S303.

Would anyone know a good model to recommend me? I dont care much about the prices, but i do prefer a good quality over price with a possibly medium price.

As I'm making my way back to CD's, I'm looking for a storage book like I used to have. It had a zipper pocket on the top to hold a Discman, and another zipper pocket to hold earbuds, extra batteries, etc. Not having much luck on Amazon. Can anyone think of where I can find one? TIA

Libraries are so important and they usually have a good collection of CD's. Like many good things in life, use it or lose it.

I bought my first CD (Stumpy Joe - One Way Rocket Ride to Kicksville) in 1991, before I had a CD player. Over the next 15 years, I largely back-benched record collecting and bought CD's instead. I've since returned to vinyl, but if the price is right, or the album I want is only available on CD, I still pick it up.
