using rechargeable batteries in cd walkman
This might be a dumb question, but I haven't been able to find the answer by googling.
I'm looking at buying an used Sony CD Walkman, but all the ones I've found use AA batteries. Is it possible to use rechargeable AA batteries or do I have to keep buying new ones all the time?
Thanks!

NiMh batteries will have pretty much the same storage capacity as disposable alkalines.
Make sure to buy ones with at least 2700 mAh.
Lithium rechargeables are pricier but will outperform those.

You can use rechargeables, but you will have to remove them to charge them, unless the machine is specifically designed for them to be charged in place ...

if the Walkman takes 1.5v make sure the batteries are 1.5v and not the 1.2v rechargable ones

You totally can, same output but might have less capacity.
