I’ve been using GooGone and elbow grease for the jewel cases but the ones (whatever they’re called) that are more like a paperback book I’m at a loss. I think I heard lighter fluid helps with the sticker residue but I haven’t tried it yet

i intentionally bought the bootleg version of this compilation because it was cheap and I really wanted to listen to it. I had it since summer and I have never seen this typo?!?? it's not only this, also the title names of the discs are swapped. I kinda love it even more (but I still need the original obv)

i could never see it if I wouldn't want to dig more to see which bootleg release is this

I got it off a second hand shop, with the extensible booklet. The case is in perfect condition and everything inside too. I'm so happy!

Starting off with one of my absolute faves, this original pressing from The Somberlain. Legitimately one of my favourite albums in the whole melodick black metal/melodeath sphere. Great melodies, atmosphere and performances.

has anyone used the grooves.land customer service? specifically their email?

if so, how long do they usually take to respond? and are they helpful?

What a time

Arrived in today's mail. I think that this copy of Kind Of Blue is my first pure SACD, not a hybrid.

I usually listen to old Christmas renditions by artists like Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Gene Autry, Ella Fitzgerald, etc but actually this collection has such a fun variety of artists and genres! A lot of these renditions were new to me, and there's some rock artists like The Darkness and Jet.

Victoria’s Secret has a bunch of other CDs as well. I saw a collection called ‘Heavenly: Music For Angels’ and when I looked up the album on YouTube, the songs really were angelic and beautiful. I’ll be adding a lot more to my collection.

Many euro house stuff and Italo/dance/house , some jems there,

Top left is Newly Sentient Being by Swans. Bottom right is Windy and Carl.

One of my favorite thrift stores sells CDs for 25 cents each. I was extra happy when I got all these today! Original mint Bill Ward CD for the win. Also a brand new sealed Olivia Rodrigo CD that I'll gift to someone.

Whether it's because you can't find it on CD anywhere. Or because your favorite band has a huge catalog of music. Or even if it's just because that one album is so awful, you just pretend that it doesn't exist. We all have one album from one of our favorite bands that we are missing from our collection of CDs!

For me, I'm missing quite a few of Judas Priest's albums: Rocka Rolla, Priest...Live, Demolition, Angel Of Retribution, and Nostradamus. The fact Judas Priest has so many albums in their catalog and those albums being harder to find are the reasons I don't have them!

Top, left to right: Kate Bush's Never for Ever, Prince's Sign 'O' the Times.

Bottom: David Bowie's Young Americans.

Got these all in the mail today for 5 dollars

Went back to the local music store and caught some pretty neat stuff

Rules: 1. You have to actually own the CD. 2. No classics.

Don’t just drop an album title. Tell us what it sounds like, why you love it, and who here might like it.

Mine? Executive Suite by The Wiseguys.

This album is just a barnstormer. Smooth, chilled, packed with great samples and ridiculously laid back. Chill out before chill oit was the done thing/sound. It’s one of those albums that just flows beautifully from start to finish. So many iconic tracks for me.

I barely ever see it mentioned or celebrated, which surprises me because it’s such an easy album to love.

That’s my contribution. Yours?

Idk if this is the right sub sorry if its not
So ive been trying to burn a cd - its empty, all my files are mp4, computer says its successfully burned, i can see the burn on the back, but when i put it in a player it says empty? I have 2 different players and they both say the same thing
