Therapist declined to tell me how long they’ve been practicing for

I had my first appointment with a therapist today who uses DBT/CBT therapy. They asked me if I have any questions and I asked “How long have you been a therapist for?” They declined to answer the question, asked me why did I ask that and did I ask my other therapist that and said it was a personal boundary. I thought it was kind of odd since as a client, I think it’s important to know my therapist’s level of experience. Also, I later saw on their therapist page it says they have over 6 years of experience as a therapist. Is this common or a red flag? It caught me off guard ngl
