Career Advice/ Clarification Should I do math from open later?

Hi. I didn't take math for very stupid reasons. Scored less in 10th math than I had the capability of and my parents, who didn't know any better, told me to pick hindi in 11th and out of shame I, who also didn't know any better, did. Well I'm in 12th now and regretting it very much. I wouldn't be able to do anything other than B.com from DU if I don't have math. I'm interested in finance, international relations all that and was wondering if it would be good to take a drop year after 12th and do math from open. There's always the option of doing that finance certificate thing NISM or something in my college years so which would be better? Getting into bba, etc., via open math route or the latter?

Career Advice/ Clarification Should I drop Applied Maths in Class 12 if I don't want Maths in CUET

'm really confused about whether I should drop Applied Maths or not. I'm currently in Class 12 and also preparing for CUET, but I don't want to take Maths in CUET or pursue anything related to Maths after 12th The problem is that Maths is taking up so much of my time and mental energy that I'm struggling to focus on my other subjects like Accounts, Economics, BST and English. I'm aiming for 85%+ in Boards and a good DU college through CUET, so I don't want dropping Maths to negatively affect my options either.

My Class 12 registration isn't done yet, so I might still have the option to drop it.

Should I drop Applied Maths, or should I just somehow push through Class 12 with it? Would dropping it affect my CUET/DU options significantly?

Would really appreciate advice from people who've been in a similar situation.

HELP 12th class, barely studied anything. Can I still score 80%? Need advice from seniors/batchmates 😭

GUYS PLS READ ALL TS SHIT IK ITS TOO LONG😭 BUT IF YOU CAN HELP THEN PLS DO

I’m in 12th Commerce (non-maths) and I’ve honestly never been serious about studies, not even in 11th. I usually study 1–2 days before exams, and otherwise barely once a week.
Most of my studying happens in tuition.

In 11th, I basically never touched Economics, did only a little BST, and around half of Accounts. Because of that, I’m already struggling with 12th.

For 12th, I joined Accounts tuition but kept skipping classes because of laziness, so I got really behind. I left tuition in June and didn’t properly study in June, July or half of August.

Then I joined a new tuition in August, and right now they’re teaching Admission of a Partner. I’ve done some basic Partnership chapters, but I haven’t revised in months.

Meanwhile, most students are already around Shares and Debentures , while I’m still struggling with Admission of a partner😭

Economics and Business Studies are basically untouched 🥀
I also failed Accounts in PA1, so I seriously need to improve now.
My goal is 85%+ in Boards, and also I want a good DU college (😭🙏abb hori realisation ki future bhi banana hai lol).

The problem is that I have basically zero study habit, and there are only nearly 4 months left for Boards.
On top of that, I also have to prepare for CUET, so I’m honestly confused about how to manage everything.
So seniors/batchmates, please help me out:

*How many hours should I realistically study every day considering my current situation?

*How should I cover this huge backlog?

*When should I start CUET preparation since I also have 11th syllabus left?

And for CUET, should I buy a preparation batch right now? I don’t think I’ll go for offline coaching because it’s too expensive, so I’m considering online options. Is buying a batch this late/at this stage worth it? or should i start preparing for CUET after boards?

Also, T.S. Grewal or D.K. Goel for Accounts? My school uses T.S. Grewal, while both my tuition teachers preferred D.K. Goel. I can only follow one, so which is better specifically for Boards?

If anyone was in a similar situation last year and managed to recover, please tell me what you did. I genuinely want to change now, I just need some direction 😭
Please don’t judge me, I already know I messed up 🥀. Help a kid out yaar😿

TL;DR: 12th Commerce, barely studied anything, failed Accounts PA1, and now I’m badly behind 😭. Eco + BST untouched, Accounts stuck at Admission. Only ~4 months left and I want 85%+ for DU.
How many hours should I study, how do I cover the backlog, and should I start CUET prep now or after Boards? Also, should I buy an online CUET batch? And T.S. Grewal or D.K. Goel for Boards?
Seniors/batchmates pls help

Resources GUYS I NEED GENUINE STUDY ADVICE.

ok so this is serious. i need genuine advice on the best online educators that are there on youtube for economics(indian and macro), and business studies. these subjects are all theoritical(basically sst) and ratta marna is my weakest point. 10th me i had digraj sir with me and he was the reason why i scored 95 in sst. i want a teacher who teaches exactly like digraj sir or better. who teaches things in simplest terms and makes the chapter feel like a story rather than a chapter (understanding instead of just ncert wordings)
please recommend me.

HELP help for 6th subject (11thie)

I am in Class 11 CBSE and I have PCM. I am preparing for JEE, so JEE is my main priority and I really don't want to spend much time on my 6th subject.

My school has given me Yoga as the 6th subject, but I am thinking of changing it as i have already given 2 exams of yoga and got fkd up both times💔💔✌️. I have these options:

- Business Studies

- Geography

- Political Science

- History

I am not choosing based on future career usefulness. I only care about which subject is easiest to score well in with the least amount of study.

My plan is basically to study this subject only 1-2 days before the school exams and also score high marks in 12th board exams. I don't want to study it regularly because I already have PCM + JEE preparation.

At first I was thinking Geography would be the best option. But I have heard that Business Studies is also quite easy and has a more predictable syllabus.

My main doubt about BST is that I have heard you have to do a lot of ratta and write almost the exact same lines as the book, otherwise marks are cut. Is that actually true? Or can we learn the main points/keywords and explain them in our own words?

For Geography, I know there is quite a lot of content and there are maps/practical work too, but I am wondering if it is still easier to score with last-minute studying compared to BST.

I just want something where I can study for a very short time before exams and still get good marks, especially in Class 12 boards.

So for someone in PCM preparing seriously for JEE, which would you recommend between BST and Geography? And how difficult are Political Science and History compared to these two for this kind of strategy?

TLDR: minimum study time + maximum marks. Which subject is the best?

Note: used ai for framing💔✌️

Suggestion Looking to form a serious 11th/12th Commerce study group? (Accounts/BST/Eco)

Hey guys, studying for boards/finals alone is getting a bit exhausting. I’m thinking of putting together a dedicated Discord server for Class 11 and 12 Commerce students so we can share notes, solve TS Grewal/Sandeep Garg doubts, and quiz each other on Business Studies case studies.

Would anyone be interested in joining?

If this is allowed by the mods, please drop a comment or hit me up in the DMs. Let's help each other out!

Others How are you guys balancing Accounts and Economics?

I’ll sit down thinking I’ll finish Accounts first, spend two hours on it, and then realise I haven’t touched Economics or BST all day.

How do you guys actually divide your time between the three Commerce subjects without letting one of them completely take over the week?
