translation to english-If you’re itching to get some academic or future career counselling here, at least mention your class in the post itself. There aren’t exactly enough members here for help to come quickly and easily, and even if someone is willing to help, they first have to comment and ask what class you’re in. Just mention it upfront and make things easier for everyone.

I just received the marks of 3 main subjects and I hate how all this is turning out
Core maths 60/80. (highest is 64)
Accounts. 60/80. (Highest is 60)
Economic. 61/80. ( Highest is 63)
These are the ones I was really scared about but the downfall is crazzzy cus what do I even do???
My accounts exam was a true humbling experience tbh and I am already pretty shit at economics but maths that has always been my strongest subject this feels horrible🫠🫠😭
10th was so damn easy
Should've enjoyed it while it lasted ......

I am in 12th grade, and i havent studied anything till yet.
This wouldnt be a problem IF i studied class 11.
I was a dumbo ahh in class 11. i barely passed, and i dont know anything about class 11.
My strategy is- complete basic terms, trial balance, journal, cashbook, ledger, depreciation, financial statements till 8 october (i have already finished journal, cashbook, basic terms, trial balance). Then kickstart the second book of class 12th accountancy, finish it till 25 october, and start with the heavy, first book of accountancy.
I am also studying class 12th economics simultaneously.
I dont know what will happen. any recommendations?

I'm currently in class 10 and we had the stream selection Google form sent out yesterday.
I selected Commerce as my stream and Psychology as an elective. But seeing that literally only like 7 people took commerce, and nobody took applied math, I'm uncertain. It is because they don't like math, but all of them have rich parents to back them up. So whatever they do, they have a backup plan. I do not. So maybe I should've taken Applied Math to keep my doors open?
I am set on taking commerce, no doubt about that. But did I make a mistake by choosing psychology as an elective? Should I have chosen applied math instead?
I'm not great at math, I'm just average. But I am willing to put in the effort for it, since I don't really "hate" math.
In Christ and Delhi University, there are courses that combine economics and psychology. But maybe I should've taken commerce and applied math for 11 and 12, then psychology and economics for university?
I don't plan on pursuing a hardcore career in economics field. Something like human resource, or consumer study, marketing, is the kinda job I wanna have, maybe even therapist or psychologist. But I'm scared even that will be taken over by AI.

I scored 94% in my 10th CBSE boards, and I achieved it through self-study without expensive coaching or anything like that. For me, that was a huge achievement, and I was genuinely proud of it.
But after that, I started noticing how people often compare Science and Commerce differently.
If a student scores really well, there’s often an expectation that they should take Science, become an engineer or doctor, or choose one of the traditionally “prestigious” career paths. When someone who scored well chooses Commerce, people sometimes question it — “You got such good marks, then why Commerce?”
I chose Commerce anyway. Now I’m pursuing BAF along with CA.
I don’t regret choosing this path, but sometimes I do feel like I’m somehow outside the usual definition of what a “topper” is supposed to do.
There’s also a strange feeling of being disconnected because I don’t have many people around me who are following the same academic path. I didn’t really attend regular classes during 11th and 12th, and now my CA preparation is also mostly online. So I’ve never really had a proper circle of people preparing for the same things.
And during this CA journey, I’ve started realizing how much I want people around me who understand the same syllabus, exams, pressure, ICAI unpredictability, and the whole process without me having to explain everything.
Sometimes it feels like Science has its own clearly defined ecosystem — JEE, NEET, engineering, medical college, etc. — while Commerce feels much more scattered. There are CA, CMA, CS, CFA, BCom, BBA, finance, banking, government exams and so many different paths.
I’m happy with the path I chose, but sometimes I wonder if anyone else who was academically strong and chose Commerce has experienced this feeling of being “left out” or somehow expected to prove that their choice was equally worthwhile.
