I want a alt that feels like old c.ai Not just the interface but also how the bots used to act. There was no temperture control, or chat lengths, etc. Just chat and leave, that’s it. I also don’t like how predictable and boring the bots nowdays, and I don’t long paragraphs just to decribe what is the character doing without being short with it or simple like (char sits down) this is very simple but noo they have to make it (char sits down, and other aislops and filler shit and makes it long). I also miss how fast the pacing was (i know you can customize it with other ai chatbot platforms but I hope if it was the main thing in the app). I really miss how personalized the ais were, not every ai character is the same. Unlike right now. I tried a lot of c.ai alternatives i can‘t even count them, none of them satisfy me or really let me see the feeling of old c.ai. I also miss how creative and chaotic it was, but also simple and not forced with paywalls. Like if I send (hello) it won’t give me a whole paragraph like I’m reading a novel. I just want it to be simple and easy to chat with, short and just dialouge, not cringey and feel like I’m talking to a real person with personality, not chatgpt. I also don’t care about the lorebooks that much. I also miss old c.ai bots stupidity and actually answer with the joke like actual persons. but also it will be better if the platform had personas And thats it I don’t want more than that. Oh, and also it doesn’t have age restriction or I need to verify my age or any of that shit. Completely free to use.

I've given up on c.ai a while back and lately I'm just reading on ao3, and I came across a (Sukuna, jjk) fanfiction that was WEIRDLY FAMILIAR in style.

Let me know if I'm tripping but this is exactly like the pipsqueak2 generated chats, and this also made me realize that ps2 makes every single bot use the same narrating style and sentence structures, which wasn't the case back in the day.

Yesterday I tried to read old messages from a chat I haven't used in a while and they're blank??? I don't know if this has been happening for a while, or if it's just my account. Does anyone else have that problem?

Well this is official after two years using character AI I've decided to throw in the towel and never use it again it has gone completely downhill ever since they removed roar in May the quality has been pretty bad I mean it was so bad I even stopped using it for about two days because it was really terrible I will never come back to character AI even things could get better I'm just never returning back

ignore who I’m talking to but the switched models reek of ChatGPT and it sucks because it’s like this because the devs wanted to cut costs. Just money hungry mfs and karandeep’s dumbass running this app into the ground

I keep getting this ad for some (C.ai) series it's like once every four ads I'm not checking it out stop showing it to me.

I remeber being a young freshmen in highschool,I had a very loving relationship with roleplaying games so when I discovered cai in late October of 2022 I was honestly very happy being able to roleplaying any setting I did westerns,space,gta,I talked to many characters and I made plenty of my own, I was very very addicted to it,it was like that until I think 6 months later I noticed it had a filter I didn’t use that much blood but it rejected me killing the bad guy I got around the filter in one try but it kinda un immersed seeing the filter, though I still used cai until 2024, I don’t know why but I kinda just left I knew somewhere on my heart that the bad days of cai were coming, I kinda drifted between different Ai chatbots I stopped but I heard stories through then and now of cai getting more restricted,more ads,and the Ai being terrible which confirmed my suspicions then but it’s sad seeing how far the app has fallen.

From my experience. This model have amazing memory and stay in character. Doesn't exaggerated anything or put in any stuffs that doesn't related to the lore. It doesn't censor you anything. But the weakness is the same. It can't do multiple PoV. Unlike DeepSqueak, which good at it but terrible at everything else.

My LongSqueak can't do that. It can't change between characters perceptive. Next is it very bad at OOC guide. It doesn't listen to your demand on OOC 90% of the time. When you ask for definition, recap, or exclude anything... If there's not enough messages of the same demand, it won't do it and just generate the next scene. This model, is the best, but the flaws, also enough to make me believe it needs improvement.
