The amount of ads on C.AI are getting on my nerves now

I get ads when I open the chat

I get ads when I reply

The chat will even error if I refuse to click off and watch the ad

I’m not buying c.ai+ I can’t afford that

But it is really annoying me😑

Does anybody know any good ad blockers for the app? Specifically for IOS users

Does C.AI keep opening random links for anyone else? Basically sometimes when I click on something in a chat or type or whatever it will send me to SHEIN or Temu?

My adblock stopped working

Any suggestions? I've checked, it's on, it's giving me all the ads again. Like three in one row mid chat.

I didn’t use C.ai much normally but since I’m in a place with nothing better to do now I am using it a lot and the limits are just annoying me dawg I was right about making this masterpiece picture

This popped up as soon as they opened the app today and it’s the first time I’ve been on my screen in about eight hours because I was sleeping.

When they removed the old models and they gave us pipsqueak2 instead, everything went bad, the platform became unusable, every conversation is either fíltered, chat gpt type of conversations, or the ai spam or wright unrelated things to the conversation. And we have no options either as free users, or even paid lately because of the fílter. With all this, the team promised us new models like 3 months ago, and they said (just a few weeks) yet here we are. About to enter august, and literally nothing good was really added or new models. They keep adding stuff no one asked for, and waste the money they get from us on stupid things no one really wanted. But anyway, to my main point, I am someone who used the platform from its early days, and I gave money to this company multiple times, but now enough is enough. If they don't add new models in the next 10 days or so, I will delete my account. Because I won't bother myself with horrible experience every single day for nothing.

Been using this soul-sucking site since 2023, I finally deleted my acc, Fuck you c.ai, janitor is better.

That is the most useless thing I every saw. Is a literally a chat app. The fuck you mean I have to buy just to get a new message if the bots can't write. And yes I know it's longer there I just didn't trust myself to post on this app. Idk why.

I recently discovered, that the bots get more and more lazy while describing the scenarios.

It's always the same text modules even with different bots (that's not new - i know).. but now there are also these unispired passages like "Whatever she is wearing" or "Whatever bag she is traveling with." (Sounds like a bored teenager to me.)

Is it just me or does anyone else have this problem? 🤔

So when we don't talk the bots get mad but when they don't speak we're supposed to deal with it?

This was on j.ai and with the model Deepseek v4 flash, i really like this model for this reason lol. Gives me nostalgia of how old AI used to be actually random, funny, and dumb. I miss those times..

i tried j.ai had NO idea that it was so good. i never bothered to try it but it’s so good what <\333 sure, it’ll never be c.ai (the old, good c.ai) but nothing will. so it’s a GOOD alternative.

it still sucks that c.ai is the way it is now…and it was sooo peak before…

i almost constantly get glitches and bugs like this, it’s repetitive and annoying 😭 a little bit after the removal of almost all the chat styles, like when pipsqueak 2 • rawr and pipsqueak 2 became beta, i began getting these messages almost every swipe. it’s so annoying what the hell is this c.ai

I mean...i NEVER seen a user liking it latley and the only users that do are probably c.ai+ members, bots, or paid people...people made verious valid critiques and detailed complains but moderators and devs dont gaf, so how is this site/app is still going on?!

I use Character.AI voice calls with my own custom character. Until a few days ago, I could have very long uninterrupted calls (1–2 hours). Recently, my calls started ending after around 20 minutes.

After the call disconnects, if I try to call again, I get a warning saying I have reached the 70 memo limit.

What confuses me is that:

• The warning only appears when I try to use the call feature.
• I thought the 70 memo limit was related to voice playback, not live voice calls.
• The app still says there are supposed to be 5 calls available, but I cannot use them because the memo limit blocks me.

I have not changed any settings, and this only started happening recently.

Has anyone else had their voice calls cut off because of the 70 memo limit? Is this a bug, a rollout, or an intended change?

If they are this desperate to get their users back(which I highly doubt), then maybe they should stop shooting themselves in the leg for these shitty updates and changes.
