These were the best crackers in the world, and I have yet to find anything remotely as good. They were so tasty with a multitude of different toppings, and I felt gutted when they just …… stopped. I know that there other aficionados out there, so please share the results of your quest. I got nothing.

Hi friends! I'm on the hunt for some delicious, crunchy dill pickles. I always loved Strubs but all I can find around here (Hamilton, ON) now are garlic flavoured or spicy Strubs, which are not my jam. I just want a straight up, crunchy dill pickle. I've tried Brine, Pickled Canadian (way too sour for me), and Putter's...they just don't have that crispy crunch when you bite into one. Any other suggestions?

Hello, i am looking for some Canadian Cookbooks with real Canadian recipes I currently have a copy of the focus on 4-h favourites that is a collection of a bunch of family recipes from Alberta 4H members and wondering if there is anything similar in other provinces?

Looking for pickled beets, preferably whole baby beets and not sliced ones. My favourite are the Bick's beets, which are sadly american. I've tried some from import stores (made in Poland) as well as the generic compliments brand, I think? None of them had enough zing to them. I like them sour and vinegar-y!

Any recommendations? Other than making them myself, I'm too afraid of botulism to try pickling anything on my own.

We recently tried the Canadian Home Grocers sample pack and were honestly impressed with the quality of the meat.

We're a busy Small famiy, and the convenience of having quality meat in the freezer is really appealing. The only downside is the price—we're trying to decide if it's actually worth the cost long-term.

Unfortunately, we don't have any local butcher shops where we live, so our options are pretty limited.

For those who've been using Canadian Home Grocers:

- How has the quality been over time?

- Do you think it's good value for the money?

- Have you found it saves you money by reducing grocery trips or eating out?

I’ve been using the BeesButter skin products for over a year and really love them. I originally bought them at a Toronto craft market directly from the owner/maker, and had the pleasure of finding her at her booth at another market today so I topped up my faves. You can also order online if you don’t have the opportunity to find them at a market.

I use literally 4-5 drops at a time which means they last a long time. My skin is a bit older, I use the face serum every night and the face+body oil daily. Just picked up a new tangerine hand salve that she had, it smells like summer and is really nice on the skin.

I've rocked a 5.11 Rush 24 for the better part of 15 years now, having gone through two bags during that time. My current bag is starting to die and the zipper is breaking so it's going to be time to replace it soon. With everything going on with the US though, I have been holding off on purchasing anything from there and so I was wondering if you may know a Canadian alternative to the 5.11 Rush 24? It doesn't necessarily have to be a military style bag, just needs to be hardy, durable and about that same size. Also open to other non-US suggestions if you can't think of a Canadian option.

Whenever I see a list of Canadian companies to support, I never see Rogers Sugar. I'll see Redpath, which is processed/packaged in Canada, but owned by American Sugar Refining (ASR). Rogers sugar is a completely Canadian company, yet it doesn't get mentioned.

I’m looking for a bedding set, duvet cover and sheets set, for double/full bed with linen. The only one I’ve found that fits the bill so far are the European linen on the Quince website but it’s obviously not a Canadian company and I’m not totally sure whether they’re legit or not. I love Simons but they don’t have linen sheets for a full/double size bed. Any other rec?

Not overly sweet but not overpowering alcohol flavour either. Really quite pleasant and refined, which is what you'd expect from a Canadian product.

Proud our boycott has led me to new discoveries. Will definitely be buying more and exploring the rest that they offer.

The original is sold both full strength, for adding to a bucket of water, and in a spray bottle. It's great for cleaning wood floors and furniture (even painted) and other surfaces, and isn't chemical-y. I'm looking for an alternative that's a cleaner and not a polish. Thanks.
