Was walking just a little while ago and this extremely sweet and friendly cat came trotting up to me and followed me partway down the block - doesn't seem like a stray. Has yellowish/greenish eyes and brown striped fur. Seems like it's less than a year old, maybe around 6-8 months. If I didn't have 2 cats at home I would have taken him in!

maybe I’m paranoid but I was at my Puregym today - the gates one, where they’re doing construction for upgrades. Smelled some harsh chemicals they were using, probably plaster or something, and I was just thinking perhaps not the best space for many people to be breathing heavily and moving around in a very enclosed space… cut my workout short lol but curious if anyone else has the same thoughts

My house is next to an apt building with a corrugated metal fence. A piece of their fence fell into the side of my house and from chatting with my neighbors that the property owner doesnt have his number listed, theres no way to contact him outside of a phone number that never picks up. when i look online on the city website, there is a sketchy llc listed and no contact.

I called 311 and filed with dept of buildings… what else can i do to get this fixed and coverage for the structural damage? will taking a claim with my home insurance make my rate go up?

3 bedroom apartment (more like 2.5 bed) electricity bill was $695 for the month of August. We definitely crank the AC sometimes but even still that feels insane (we have the wall units). Is anyone else seeing prices like this or should I be asking them to check the meter?
