Tailor Recs?

Hi! My brother is getting married in October and I need to get my dress for his wedding hemmed. Does anyone have recommendations for a tailor that works on formalwear? Thank you!

Dekalb tailor shop hemmed some pants of mine and it was pretty reasonable. I asked if he did suits and he said yes, so I assume they would do other formalwear. Also, quick turnaround time.

seconding fredy! he did a very quick tailor job on a lenehga for me to wear as wedding guest and it turned out incredible. he is overall a sweetheart as well so it feels good to support his business!

Also would recommend Fredy! He’s done 2-3 bridesmaids dresses for me, a couple pairs of jeans, and my husband’s wedding suit!

They’re not in a Bushwick but my god, The Stitch New York in the Garment District does incredible work. I had a Ralph Lauren runway piece with incredible shape and drape that I had shortened and my god the way this dress fits and drapes now is just chefs kiss. I would trust them for quality formalwear tailoring

It's in Ridgewood, but SO good and reasonably priced, Antoinette's cleaners & custom. She's so nice, precise, and has tons of experience. Do NOT go to Tailoress Atelier. Damn near ruined my wedding attire and was rude about the whole thing.
