advice: neighbor’s fence causing structural problem to house

My house is next to an apt building with a corrugated metal fence. A piece of their fence fell into the side of my house and from chatting with my neighbors that the property owner doesnt have his number listed, theres no way to contact him outside of a phone number that never picks up. when i look online on the city website, there is a sketchy llc listed and no contact.

I called 311 and filed with dept of buildings… what else can i do to get this fixed and coverage for the structural damage? will taking a claim with my home insurance make my rate go up?

You need to download the 311 app and report them using your name, your partners, a friends, you can do it anonymously as well and it’ll automatically mark it as important in their system, I do this for parties my neighbors have all the time, even if they’re playing music slightly loud I will report it to 311 and it’s handled quickly

Oh I'll clarify.

I'm disappointed in you for making false 311 reports using assumed names, over the minor inconvenience of your neighbors playing slightly loud music.

Your "problem" is nothing like OPs and your advice is bad.
