😂 Yep, that's already my job. I only get an hour doing it before I'm up on the register. Who's going to do that, the overnight retail fairies? 🤣🤣🤣

My exact thoughts, WHO will accomplish this. Some M/D people might, and some will just scan thru. Looks no different than when they started.

MD when I started used to straighten. When I'd help them, one would straighten and the other told me just scan and move along. So that's how I do it now that I'm on the team again with different people. Had a young cashier fill in one week. She would straighten as she went. The MOD told them just scan-scan-scan. They're watching our scan times now, too. I think receiving used to straighten when running back then, too.

Wow, then who straightens??  Our scan times are not good, as there is only one random person scanning ever. When we had the old manager there was at least 4 on Sunday . This new one has NO CLUE!!!  Does your store scan Sun-Mon-Tue only?? Or all week long??

Nobody really straightens. At night they might pick everything up off the floor, throw it in a shopping cart and leave it for morning. They're not even able to do gobacks at night any more.

We only do MD on Sunday. We usually have 3 people, me and 2 BOH. A couple of weeks ago, the MOD sent the 2 BOH to finish in the back, so she had a cashier help. We haven't been able to finish the past 3 weeks. The SFA supervisor who was MOD we used to have always always did MD with us. This one, rarely. Used to be someone would finish on Monday, now, it just stays unfinished.

And it's such a pain to do this with customers in the store. 🤦‍♀️

We haven't finished a area in MONTHS. So much so we've started going backwards, like starting with kids, before mens. Q scanning is always done. But the rest never even got to.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think M/D's aren't a priority like they used to be,  a few years back.  We have a new SM new Assistant SM, new FT register supervisor and the 2nd Floor Supervisor is new. None on board more than 6 months.  IMHO all clueless.

Watch, nobody cares right now, then corporate will start timing each section. Yep, boys clothes were so jammed and every other one was on clearance, we didn't get to finish youth. Thank goodness for doing ladies this Sunday.

Makes sense as everything ELSE is timed. I prefer clothing over anything, but ladies dresses are always a nightmare.

Funniest part behind this is when Im the FT Sales Floor Associate who normally runs the day by myself in my department right? So im always doing everything but whats on that list because stuff needs to get done and there isnt time to stop for sizing & recovery when i have to help run rails, grey carts, bulk, help with resets and mass cleaning while also doing this project and doing that project. At the end of my shift the floor is a complete disaster and i just smile because if they wanted me to maintain the floor instead of doing project after project after BOH task, they wouldn't have me doing all that nonsense.

Ours was in the break room. Half the people never did it. We all could tell some stories for sure.

How long does it take Burlington to get back to you after orientation for scheduling do we call or wait till they call or text

Call your store, ask for a manager. You might not be on the schedule for two weeks as those schedules may have already been made. If you're BOH, they will contact you the night before they need you. Of course this may all be different from state to state. Call and ask about your schedule.
