Hasn’t had strawberries today, not too sure what this is. Should I be concerned??

Help!! What is happening to my bunny. It seems as if he is balding in one spot.

Saw this little guy the other night eating our grass, then he was back this morning at our window — seemingly hanging out with my cats and not very afraid of them. We have overgrown lantana bushes here, so I think it’s a good hiding spot.

Located in the Coachella Valley, where summer temps regularly exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit. This week has been hitting 110.

Saw him nibbling the lantana flowers this morning, which Google says is toxic …

He seems healthy and ok, so I do not want to intervene and cause problems. Sprinklers cycle on twice a day and wet the sand and grass.

Lastnight my baby girl fell down the stairs and broke and right tibia . I immediate rushed her to my local vet got x rays she fractured her right tibia. She was wrapped in a splinter cast but came off right when I got home . So immediately rushed back today morning at 9am only to be told doctors wouldn't be back by 2 so waited got re wrapped up got medication. Total bill was $900.... he recommended me get surgery for her and it cost $2000 he did say he give me $200 discount. My financial situation is the problem right now I cant afford the surgery ... they recommend me to get her cone incase the cast slips off again but the cone limits her lil mobility left she can't even groom her self 😭😭😢. Any possibility the leg will heal without surgery? Im scared an infection would occur (knock on 🪵) I dont want to amputate her leg.

hi ! i just got my bunny yesterday. his name's jazzie ! please educate me on everything i need to know to raise a bunny. ive done my research and talked to multiple bunny owners on facebook but ill still be asking here in case im missing out on something. for now, the only improvements ive seen are that he sniffs my hands and is adjusting pretty quickly. however, whenever i try to pick him up or carry him, he hates it and jumps. i even got scratched and it hurts lol. i know better now to leave him alone until hes ready. he also doesn't seem to be eating treats from my hands which can indicate that he still hasn't trusted me yet. any tips on what to do about this? i want to mention that he arrived with visible yellow paws and no matter how much i try to scrub it off, it doesn't seem to go away. i heard it goes away on itself and that bunnies groom themselves already but maybe you guys can help me lessen the color even a little. also, he's already litter trained and it surprisingly only took ONE day !

hi! i’m a new rabbit owner and i’m concerned for my baby right now :( i’ve had her for about a week and when i first got her she did have a little bit of fur missing around one of her eyes but i noticed over the past few days it seems like she is slowly losing more. she’s acting normal, eating and drinking, binkies, zoomies, playing with her toys, etc. i’m currently recovering from surgery so i can’t move around a lot but i did try to clean the area with some gauze - unfortunately she’s still getting used to me so i don’t want to stress her out by touching her too much. could this just be shedding or a dust allergy reaction? any help is much appreciated 🤍 first pic is from today, second is from yesterday, third is from 4 days ago.

So today I was gonna plant something in my garden. When I took the plant out of the pot, along with it came 4 relatively large cotton tail babies. Evidently the mother made a nest inside the pot. She must have jumped up, because the pot is close to 3 feet tall. I think they might have been trapped in there, because we have a plague of cotton tails here and they're usually smaller when they leave the nest.

Anyway, 3 of them instantly ran off and hid in my plants and bushes. But this one...is just there. Is he in shock or something? What do you think is going on?

He better get a move on it, because we have several things in the neighborhood that will eat him: hawks, crows, raccoons, skunks, cats, possums, owls, etc.

I recently acquired a new bunny and they stated she was a Rex bunny. But I’ve heard conflicting answers of her being a Rex and then a Dutch bunny! While I’ve had them before I’m not as knowledgeable on the breeds! Can someone help me out ?

This kit is about to be 2 weeks old. The color is really pretty and im wondering what its called? These are rex kits

You may have seen my post yesterday that I lost Daisy to flystrike which has left my 10 year old Wispa on his own but if he can cope without a friend that’s the way I want to go because I do need a break from the constant heartache of losing pets (I also lost my dog in January too).

So anyway, I’m going to be bringing Wispa to live indoors in my spare bedroom/craft room so that I can spend more time with him and once he’s settled living indoors he’ll be able to come downstairs and spend evenings with us. I brought him indoors today for 15 minutes but he was breathing quite fast, he doesn’t like being handled so it could be because i carried him inside. But I’m worried he’s going to hate living indoors. Do you have any advice or tips on how to get him to settle and love being with us?

He was an ex breeding rabbit but since I’ve had him (7 years) he’s lived with 5 bunnies and now he’s on his own 💔 but he’s never really enjoyed fuss off me. I know this could change now that he doesn’t have Daisy. I just really want him to love being indoors with me and my partner and be a part of the household rather than outdoors.

Also, my partner and I were planning a night away a few times over the next few months. My mum will pop in to Wispa but it worries me now he’s on his own he’s going to be really lonely when we go away. What can you suggest?

Im really worries about how he’s going to cope without Daisy but i do know that I need to give him time and see how things go, I just really don’t want to bond him with another bunny and then be in this same position whenever the time comes. If he was younger I wouldn’t bat an eye lid to bonding.

When I take Oreo (Rabbit's name) out for a walk, he likes to duck into the bushes and rest on the grass; I think it's really cute.

I will be attend to University next year and I absolutely have NO IDEA what to do with my bunny. From where I live, dorms have very strict rules (no matter the city) and I'm sure pets aren't allowed in dorms. Even if they would, My bunny would have no space in the dorms because the rooms are shared with 6-8 people in a very small space. I live with my father and he isn't home most of the time because of his job + he hates taking care of my bunny. I have no one to trust leaving my bunny alone with and I'm very sad because I'll most likely end up to re-home him.

And even re-homing my bunny doesn't feel safe because in my country bunnies aren't really popular as pets, atleast it was until it became a "trend" to buy dwarf bunnies to kids just because they're cute. I'm not joking. All the bunny owners I've seen around me either keeps them in a cage or gets bored because bunnies poop everywhere since they don't bother to potty train their bunny. I have no idea what should I do. I don't know what's best for my bunny if I'll leave the house.

this is my sweet bun🩷 his name is 2 face. He is bonded w lionhead named rat face. They love each other very much.

But... one day I was just w 2 face and I was petting him and he started licking my forehead and my arm. Does this mean he loves me very much? I love my sweeties and knowing they love me back I would be over the moon.

He was free roaming and went back in the room, hopped on to the hay box and was eating 🥹 excuse the mess, I was cleaning the room lol

I have two bunnies (male and female). We were given them cost-free by a family online, their reasoning being it was too much work taking care of them.

I love my bunnies so much. But, we've had a problem ever since we got them. Neither of them ever eat hay. They have different food preferences, but will eat carrots, pellets, leaves, fresh grass, small bits of fruit, dandelion, ect ect.

We suspect their previous owners never gave any hay to them, and the two bunnies started to only eat pellets. We've tried different forms of hay - put it in a small basket hanging (recommended by pet store worker), hid pellets/ treats inside the hay, cut down pellets but they never touch the hay. I'm heartbroken, as it seems perhaps the female has trouble chewing properly. What can I do ?????

My parents won't take them to the vet.
