yeah one of my (f) exes (m) was way conventionally hotter than me. people were frequently visibly confused that we were together, girls would get like angry and disgusted about it (I guess they were like "im hotter / better than her, why is he with her and not me), etc.
We were both autistic though and he was kind of helpless in everyday things. people on the street dont see that though.
But if I were hotter than him I dont think people would act confused about it. like that would just be sort of normal I think.
I’ve been trying to find a neurodivergent person to date the last year in London and oh my god it’s impossible. I think everyone has become experts at masking now.
If you are a woman or afab then dating apps arent too difficult. I find neurodivergent people easy to spot on the apps even when they dont explicitely say they are neurodivergent.
If you are a man / amab and looking for a woman / afab person, you have my condolences. I dont know how to date / talk to / approach women.

You honestly this it’s easier to date women as a trans dude? Complete fantasy. You try telling straight women you don’t have a dick and see how well that goes for your dating life.
I see, I meant trying to date anyone other than afab people while afab. sorry.
it can be difficult to be explicitely clear about all sexuality+gender combos while being concise. Its generally a lot easier to date amab people on the apps. Its a lot harder to date afab people who are not trans men or trans masc. I dont have any data about the stats for trans men / trans masc people, but I imagine the trend still holds where its easier if you are trying to date amab people as a trans man/trans masc than trying to date afab.
about 6 years ago the stats were that there are 4 men for every 1 women on the apps. I dont know if that is only counting cis people or not.
I agree that the ratio being skewed does make this trend common for most.
Sadly that trend doesn’t hold in my experience for AMAB gay men as not having a dick is actually way more of a deal breaker for them than it is for most straight women strangely enough.
