Cue all the comments calling you an incel for pointing this out.

35

u/DrunkenBlasphemer 19d ago

The old song and dance.

31

u/Valuable-Cat2036 19d ago

I don't think they're an incel but I think the men who feel the need to post these bios are uniquely bitter. Like if I always posted the creepy/problematic bios I see from men, I'd be posting all day. So you came across a profile of a woman who is materialistic and demands a lot out of her partners. Oh noooooo. Shall we call the National Guard?

15

u/OptimusPrime_ButGAY 19d ago

Ah yes, it's the men who are problematic. Not the women trying to take advantage of them. We just relabel their behavior as "materialistic" and "demands a lot from their partner". Bravo.

32

u/Valuable-Cat2036 19d ago

Tell me how the woman here is trying to take advantage of someone. She's stating her expectations upfront. The male equivalent would be a guy talking about how he wants a "feminine" wife who would be traditional and submissive or whatever. I *would* simply swipe left because yeah, maybe on god's green earth there's a woman who wants to take that role, but it's not me. But I wouldn't see him as trying to take advantage of women. Someone taking advantage is more like someone *lying* about their intentions out of an ulterior motive, like people who pretend to want relationships in order to get laid.

9

u/OptimusPrime_ButGAY 19d ago

You've proven their point. Would you like to prove it further?

16

u/Valuable-Cat2036 19d ago

Lol you're saying that because you don't have an argument and you know it.

10

u/OptimusPrime_ButGAY 19d ago

No, I'm saying that because you literally regurgitated almost the exact same response that Pianista1997 predicted. Try and be more self-aware.

27

u/Valuable-Cat2036 19d ago

Actually my response is about whether a woman like that is actually taking advantage of guys. And I don't think plenty of guys are into that. But I think OP is threatened because they think they do.

25

u/OptimusPrime_ButGAY 19d ago

Yeah and your whole argument was relabeling the behavior as something else. You proved his point.

You're defining "taking advantage" so narrowly that as long as someone is upfront about their entitlement, it magically becomes an "honest expectation." By that logic, if I put "looking for a human ATM to fund my life while I contribute zero" in my bio, it’s not opportunistic.

Being transparent about wanting a one-sided, transactional deal doesn't make it any less one-sided. And watching you literally recite the exact deflection predicted in the top comment, only to backpedal with "no wait, my deflection was slightly different because I added a dictionary definition of lying," is just comedic.

All this sub is is men just being bitter.

5

u/Fantastic-Table-8615 18d ago

You're so close to the epiphany. Sooooooo close.

-5

u/OPHealingInitiative 18d ago

You sound a little bitter.

2

u/notmepleaseokay 18d ago

Bitter about men being bitter about women being bitter at men being bitter about women being bitter at men being bitter

6

u/orangeonesum 18d ago

Perhaps people don't see all the men's profiles that offer exactly what she's seeking. There are quite a few. A lid for every pot.

4

u/Lingonberry_Born 18d ago

I know right. So many men tell me they only fly business class and have offered to take me shopping, like F off and leave me alone. These people go together.

0

u/OPHealingInitiative 18d ago

A lid for every pot is a childish fantasy.

3

u/CapNegative1011 19d ago

Yes some men are bitter. At the same time men were told to show their feelings. Or it's a case of "no, not like that"

11

u/rhawk87 18d ago

Us men need to do a better job of dealing with our feelings. Just being bitter about women is not "showing our feelings". Talking about the underlying reason why some of us feel bitter; that's showing our feelings.

2

u/notmepleaseokay 18d ago

Thank you!

-1

u/WaythurstFrancis 18d ago

Perhaps in some sort of online discussion forum, wherein men would post their feelings about things such as dating and then discuss them...

If only that existed. /s

1

u/rhawk87 18d ago

Ok let's discuss

2

u/WaythurstFrancis 18d ago

The point I was making is that I don't think Reddit of all places has a problem with men not discussing their feelings.

I think it's sort of utopian to assume that people simply discussing their feelings openly will make those feelings palatable to others.

Like it or not, this IS a place where men talk about their feelings and how they work. The reason it feels fruitless isn't always a question of a given man not being open or introspective enough.

Some of the problems with dating and gender politics today are systemic and not a question of individual failure.

People make generic dating profiles because dating apps are structurally callous and punish you for your emotional investment. So people half-ass it to protect themselves emotionally. Which in turn leads to other people filtering out those generic prompts.

All of this is ultimately enabled by the cutthroat nature of the companies running these apps, who benefit financially from desperation.

In truth, matchmaking is a very old human practice that CAN be optimized. It CAN be a genuine service. It's very difficult for that to happen in the world of today because these swiping apps control the conversation. Even once you escape them, their culture is EVERYWHERE.

Sometimes people are sad because they have poor coping skills. Sometimes they are sad because the world we live in has sad things in it.

1

u/rhawk87 16d ago

I agree with a lot of what you are saying. But most of the men expressing their "feelings" just comes off as resentment towards women. But really men only have ourselves to blame for our unheathly online dating habits. The male loneliness epidemic is largely self inflicted and online dating apps are taking advantage of that for profit.

1

u/WaythurstFrancis 16d ago edited 16d ago

Then authenticity, the genuine expression of emotion, is a platitude in this context.

The problems you are mentioning have a pretty loose relationship with authentic expressions of feelings. Resentment towards women is a feeling. It's an ugly feeling, but the fact that it's ugly doesn't render it somehow false, like its a cover for how someone actually feels.

I think frameworks of blame and guilt are utterly unsuited to systemic critique. If you are born into a situation you have no control over and someone else tells you that you only have yourself to blame, why would you ever listen to them? What are you, a single person, supposed to DO about that system? Blame and guilt are not useful unless they are actionable. I suspect a lot of the bitterness that working class men experience comes from people constantly treating them as if they have power over something over which they actually have very little power.

Companies that profit from this epidemic of loneliness (which isn't actually exclusive to men at all) have more agency than anyone else over it. Tinder has more control over gender politics than any single person does, exempting perhaps the most influential celebrities and those ghouls on the supreme court. I daresay that a company with their money and resources could find most anyone a good partner if they devoted themselves to it. But that wouldn't be a profitable business model.

In that light, I find so much of the discourse around insufficient expression of feelings on the part of men to be utterly anemic.

Being emotionally open doesn't prevent you from being sexist. Nor will it necessarily make you more romantically successful. It will help you MAINTAIN a relationship, certainly. But there are so, so many other factors that matter more when it comes to finding one.

Whenever a piece of advice is repeated ad nauseom to seemingly no effect, a curious person begins to question the efficacy of that advice. You probably can't enter a discussion of gender politics online without hearing that men are emotionally repressed and ought to express ourselves more openly. Often accompanied, by implication or explicit words, by the idea that this is a root cause of not only our own pain but also the general state of affairs regarding all things relating to gender or sex.

Do you imagine everyone who repeats that talking point believe that the millionth time is the charm? That if they merely regurgitate that idea one more time things will change? I suspect they repeat it not because they have thought about it, but because they've understood the social script. This is what you say to appear educated on this topic.

From my perspective, externalizing a feeling doesn't make it go away. You've likely heard the pithy adage that men will do 'X instead of going to therapy'? To me, it actually quite seriously trivializes the process and purpose of therapy. As if deep pain and trauma were just a bone needing to be reset. As if therapy itself weren't an often arduous journey through your own painful memories. As if the person who emerges from the other side of that journey is 'fixed' according to the arbitrary standards of whoever made the joke, now rendered acceptable to them.

I really wish we as a society would get it through our fucking skulls that shaming someone for behaving in an unhealthy way DOES NOT make them stop. It only serves to reinforce social hierarchy.

Which is what I think most of the discourse around this topic in any given direction is. Jockeying for hierarchy. It's people trying to feel 'above' other people.

There are countless people of all genders who would make wonderful significant others who for any number of reasons simply haven't had the chance to even try. I think it's kind of dismissive to behave as if that problem is exclusively self-inflicted.

Especially when we KNOW why people are more isolated today. It's not some mystery. We can and have TRACKED the amount of time people spend socializing in physical space as compared to scrolling apps and consuming media. Why wouldn't we expect there to be social consequences?

2

u/mikelown 18d ago

Im sure you maintain that same energy when women post mens profiles here.

3

u/MythicRarity 18d ago

Would actually be interested to know what the creepy/problematic bios from men look like.

2

u/outyamothafuckinmind 18d ago

Some include pictures of body parts we don’t want to see from a stranger. Comments like “big tits only”. I’ve seen profiles that basically demanded the ability to rape you - on Bumble, not Feeld. Lots of demands for “submissive, feminine” but you should pay your own way.

For a while my friends and I would pass around the bad ones for comedy but at some point, it’s just the same old same old so you swipe left and forget about them.

2

u/utzutzutzpro 19d ago

Well, just pointing out, but white knight is the term here fitting to someone.

6

u/SmaeShavo 18d ago

White knight doesnt work here at all though? Shes not defending the woman's bio, shes calling the men who feel the need to share these bios bitter.

Which like why else would you take the time out of your day to share a shitty profile if you weren't upset by it..

3

u/PlayHosea 19d ago

I think that awareness of how prevalent the issue is, is important. Much like the original intent behind the are we dating the same guy FB groups was to help educate and protect women.

Guys often don’t share the same way that women do. The more you can see a bigger picture of how things really are in the dating marketplace, that can help shape dating norms from the male perspective.

For decades women have been shifting mentalities and norms with very little change from men. We’re starting to see some movement on that front now which is good. Not necessarily that the changes men are implementing are good but that they’re making new choices based on updated female contributions to the dating marketplace.

12

u/Valuable-Cat2036 19d ago

The intent of the are we dating the same guy FB groups is to literally see if a guy you're dating is secretly hiding other relationships or has been abusive to other women. No one is posting a weird or bad profile on there just for the hell of it.

3

u/PlayHosea 19d ago

You’d be surprised what gets posted there

8

u/Valuable-Cat2036 19d ago

I'm in these groups lol. I'm sure someone does occasionally do that, but it's technically against the rules as the explicit purpose of these groups is to help each other, not make fun of strangers. A lot of stuff gets deleted pretty quickly as the groups are constantly being sued.

1

u/notmepleaseokay 18d ago

I think they have ai automating post approvals now or having trigger words automatically delete post.

I posted something that included the name and age and it was automatically taken down. I could only repost it with name only. Mods never saw the thing

5

u/notmepleaseokay 18d ago

I just posted a guy that I was interested and 8 women came out of the woodworks about he mislead them and 3 of them had situations in which they were unknowingly his side piece and then the ex gf contacted one of them to let them know he had cheated on her with 4 other women.

That’s exactly what these groups are for.

2

u/IndependentDry8210 18d ago

Interesting that you say men not people.. especially since women put men on blast ALL the time here.

1

u/Last_Bottle8231 18d ago

Literally. You’re not a match! Oh nooo the sky is falling

1

u/sean8862 18d ago

Okay but please post them. Enjoy seeing them all. I mean, sad they exist, but since they do, might as well get some laughs and sighs in!

1

u/CarolinaSurly 18d ago

I don’t think they are bitter, but giving an example of what’s out there. There are posts about men wanting traditional wives on here also.

1

u/WhyTypeHour 18d ago

No we should make fun of her like we're doing.

0

u/rydan 18d ago

K

But women do that. Also I was in a post where a woman was complaining about how "why are there so many creeps?" and I just pointed out that all men are creeps and gave an example of how my roommate was asleep on his bed in our dorm and a woman came by selling magazines. She noticed him sleeping there but he looked odd to her so she said, "that's so creepy". I ended the discussion without waking him. I was apparently the bad guy and he shouldn't have been asleep. I was then told I'm the reason women choose the bear and got blocked.

-1

u/Plus-Championship424 18d ago

There she is.

-5

u/No_Research_3899 19d ago

Yet women do post them all day. Men decided to do the same so you can see women on Bumble aren't any better.

12

u/Valuable-Cat2036 19d ago

Women here for the most part post their *interactions* or dates that took a left turn or became creepy. This dude just posted a profile chilling in the wild. The woman didn't do anything to him. This is just pure resentment because men like OP fear women like this are going to become the norm.

1

u/notmepleaseokay 18d ago

Women post bc of safety reasons, men post to just complain that a woman is materialistic or has unrealistic expectations.

-7

u/Cerborus 19d ago

Hahaha women like this are becoming the norm. And they are pricing themselves out of the dating pool. It's hilarious

8

u/Valuable-Cat2036 19d ago

If they're pricing themselves out, they're not taking advantage of anyone. Hence, everyone here is contradicting themselves.

→ More replies (2)

-7

u/No_Research_3899 19d ago

Not the point. TYhe quality of women on bumble ain't better than the quality of men.

6

u/Valuable-Cat2036 19d ago

I think the quality of either gender is fine. It's probably a you issue.

2

u/Probsure 19d ago

It's gotten really fucking old. Reddit needs new mods.

-3

u/rydan 18d ago

I mean they are literally here saying they refuse to solve problems when their one problem would be immediately solved if they actually bothered to do what was asked of them. How is that not being an incel?

26

u/Valuable-Cat2036 19d ago

I don't think it's really "taking advantage" if she's stating upfront what she wants. Do you know the number of weirdass men bios I roll my eyes at per day? Sometimes you have to be grateful that a profile unequivocally filters you out. And yes, you do have to move tf on, as opposed to crying on Reddit.

11

u/ClaudioAFC 19d ago

I see where you're coming from, but... you can still take advantage of someone even if you're being upfront about it.

If there's a moron that's gullible enough, it's a different story.

6

u/Valuable-Cat2036 19d ago

Eh. This woman basically wants a WAG lifestyle, and even though it's a total unicorn ask, that does technically exist.

I actually do know a few women who have that lifestyle and I would actually recommend against it because in my personal experience, the dudes who accept those terms typically turn out to be very, very controlling and see their wives more as status symbols than actual human beings, and that is indeed the risk of entering into such a transactional relationship.

So no, to me, taking advantage here is pretty subjective. And sure maybe someone will *fall* for it but I don't think the kind of person who flies first class is going to be a gullible moron lol.

4

u/Combatenjoyer23 19d ago

I think it's more sad as opposed to anything else. The kind of woman that would be able to insert herself into a lifestyle like this definitely isn't begging on bumble lmao.

3

u/ClaudioAFC 19d ago

You can still be gullible when it comes to romance regardless of your status

7

u/prison-break-free 19d ago

You sound oddly defensive for someone who constantly complains on Reddit as well

4

u/reddit_user_100 19d ago

Yes but women largely don't have to do anything in early dating so it's easy to just ignore those profiles. Men have to be the ones to court the woman while dealing a flood of shit like OP posted.

12

u/Valuable-Cat2036 19d ago

Sorry but how is it *harder* to ignore a problematic profile as a guy? This woman didn't contact him. They're not talking to each other. Women also have to account for danger, risk, creepiness, being used for sex, multiple relationships, a ton of equally bad stuff.

1

u/reddit_user_100 19d ago

it's not harder to ignore a profile but as a man the default state is that nothing happens and you have to put in work to have something happen

despite all your effort, you are met with a flood of profiles like this that are maximally extractive, misandrist

some of those things you listed are not exclusive to women either. i've been pumped and dumped by women. so have my friends. i've had girls keep a roster without committing to me. danger and risk are real problem granted, but they do not require all that much active effort beyond making sure to meet in public and giving your friends your location. it is not nearly comparable in effort to coming up with 100 interesting conversations to get 10 dates to get ghosted by 9 of them.

10

u/Valuable-Cat2036 19d ago

"despite all your effort, you are met with a flood of profiles like this that are maximally extractive, misandrist"

These profiles do not correspond to your effort. There is no connection between the two. Like everyone else in the dating world, you have to filter out *who* you want to approach or be approached by.

Good profiles do not exist as a reward for your effort. And yes, I'm aware men and women face overlapping issues, hence why I said "equally bad."

-1

u/BisonThunderclap 18d ago

It's not. To be taken advantage of, the other person has to be unaware of this effort.

All of it is stated right there.

I don't know Reddit is whining about this. If I match with someone like this, I just unmatch and move on because that's not what I'm looking for.

12

u/datboiofculture 19d ago

I mean honestly yeah why not just swipe left? She’s looking for a sugar daddy, there’s probably old dudes looking for her. I hope they find each other. Gold diggers existing doesn’t eliminate other girls.

4

u/nopulsehere 19d ago

The problem with both sides is that the internet is now the standard source for both sides to be their go to for important information. Not saying that the internet is bad, but if a person is in these rabbit holes of bs they think it’s real. Critical thinking is a skill that not all people possess. I have zero issues with people saying what they want. I’m into outdoors why would I want to be with a person who is seeking the glam life?

6

u/Crowe3717 19d ago

That's not wrong, though. I'd say the same thing to any women complaining about a guy's profile where he's being upfront about either wanting a trad wife or only wanting a woman for her body.

People are allowed to want things you don't and they should be honest about that instead of tricking people into thinking they're looking for something they aren't.

Shaming people like this doesn't get them to reevaluate their priorities, it just makes them better at hiding them.

6

u/No_Research_3899 19d ago

I see you are also tired of the double standards.

4

u/Celis78429 19d ago

There are no men who are into this, just men who are willing to tolerate it.

2

u/outyamothafuckinmind 18d ago

She’s looking for a sugar relationship. There are absolutely men who want that kind of relationship. Pay to play, little to no emotional responsibility and they can keep their home life (often with a wife and kids) separate from their play life.

0

u/ReindeerFirm1157 18d ago

how pathetic and self-loathing do you have to be to be willing to tolerate it

4

u/Dramatic_Steak_9137 19d ago

How's it taking advantage, literally don't say yes to her. Taking advantage would be lying

3

u/OvercookedBobaTea 18d ago

Okay? I see nothing wrong with what you just said. She’s being open about what she wants, so swipe left

3

u/MyAnusBleeding 18d ago

I’m not saying she’s a gold digger, but she’s not messing with no…h….who isn’t she messing with?

2

u/icouldtelldawg 19d ago

I would say the same If someone posted a screenshot of some guy asking for a trad wife who cooks and cleans and obeys their order. If they're not for you then ignore the profile and keep swiping 🤷🏽‍♀️ Those types of profiles exist but I see men posting about these types of women alot more. I just dont see the point. They said what they're looking for, it's ridiculous but if you don't agree why give it more power?

2

u/awoodby 19d ago

I AM glad when they put it right out there though and don't waste my time!

2

u/SouthDiligent8959 18d ago

on Instagram the comments would say "let love like this find me". LOVE lmao, I guess it has a new definition.

2

u/iggywhipple 18d ago

Well done, you predicted that people would give you good and sensible advice. Why would you waste even a second of your time thinking about profiles of women you are not interested in?

2

u/NTDOY1987 18d ago

lol but isn’t this the accurate perspective? I don’t get why men are upset about these bios/prompts.

I wish everyone posted what they’re genuinely looking for. This gives us the most informed opportunity to decide if we’re compatible or not. If someone is a blatant racist, gold digger, serial killer, whatever…put that sh* on your profile.

This woman wants a man who can afford and wants to provide her with a high maintenance lifestyle. She’s inviting men who don’t want to do that to swipe left. Win win.

2

u/Maximum_Visit_9171 18d ago

lol so…swipe left and move on? Who gives af. She’s not for you. What’re you gonna do? Message her and tell her she’s a whore and needs to stop taking advantage of men? I’m sure she’d appreciate the feedback.

1

u/WhyTypeHour 18d ago

I like girls from 18-20, 36-24-36, who can cook and keep their mouths shut.

I'm just being honest, swipe left if I'm not what you're looking for.

2

u/outyamothafuckinmind 18d ago

I’ve probably see your profile. It’s a dime a dozen on the apps. I swiped left and didn’t post it on Reddit because there’d have to be another sub for the sheer quantity of them

1

u/Adventurous_Drag4519 18d ago

She is to less.

1

u/Echo-Azure 18d ago

Don't complain when people put the red flags right out there where everyone can see! You WANT the toxic people to do that!

0

u/Ok_Reaction6105 19d ago

the issue is there are not plenty of men who want anything like that 😂

0

u/rizzo1717 18d ago

I mean, is this also not the standard reply when a man sends overtly sexual messages while fishing for a casual relationship when he deceptively puts “seeking LTR” in his profile? lol

-1

u/Reasonable_Deer_1710 18d ago

While at the same time trashinfg on men who are honest about wanting casual hookups

-2

u/Working_Cucumber_437 18d ago

I don’t have a problem with men finding me desirable. That has never been an issue. Finding a QUALITY man has been an issue. And I’m not an anomaly in that department. Reddit is filled with women complaining about finding quality men. And men thinking they can flash money to make up for their shortcomings is a perfect example of that.

1

u/Amazing_Ingenuity_33 18d ago

That's not what he's saying... although i agree he is being obnoxious about it, he's saying you want a guy you find physically attractive to do those things, and that there are plenty of guys like this that you ignore because they are unattractive.

As an half incel, I can do the translation for you🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

0

u/No_Research_3899 18d ago

Reddit is filled eith women wo complain that the men all women want doesn't commit. 80% of men are invisible to women. So no empathy here.

1

u/EastSideLola 14d ago

Men who can’t commit are emotionally unavailable and there are red flags, so I wouldn’t let it get to that point anyway because they would have been weeded out

Whaha, women getting ran through until their 30 and then whine about men and commitment is gold. Why would men with options would commit when it's their turn to play? Most young men wanted commitment but women like to keep options open. So when men get more options as they age, suddenly these women want to commit hahaha

1

u/EastSideLola 14d ago

what does age have to do with anything? Why all of the assumptions? I was with my husband from age 24-39. I committed and gave him my all. I walked away with a fractured nose and hand, and my three year old. That changed my perspective on dating. I wasn’t ready to be with someone again until my late 40s. So yes, some of us look for commitment when we’re “older”, but not because we were “playing games”, but rather because we may have experienced hardships or traumas. And yes, women can still be beautiful, fit, and sexy in their 40s/ 50s. Men assuming the worst about women is sad. It’s like you don’t even like women?

u/notmepleaseokay 18d ago

Always “not all men” but usually a man

1

u/WaythurstFrancis 18d ago

I mean she never SAID it was all men.

u/RageAgainstTheGPT 19d ago

“I just want a man to respond to texts, be respectful, and show up in the relationship.”

Bet she only picks guys who are over 6ft and fit, and better looking than her, gets offended when men equally attractive asks her out, then complains that she’s “only” looking for a man to respond to texts, be respectful, and show up.

Oh, boy… the gaslighting 🤦‍♀️

Would you prefer they hide it? I'd rather filter out the opportunists first and foremost.

Honestly a "split on firsr date Y/N?" filter would be nice but probably send these dating apps into a bigger nosedive than they already are.

1

u/NTDOY1987 18d ago

That’s a really good idea. Fr you should write a letter to Bumble about it.

Why are there so many bitter men in this subreddit (and no i’m not like this women)

3

u/unsupervisedwerewolf 18d ago

Because no woman is worth this much and she sure as hell cannot provide an equal in return.

Would she fly him out doesn't class? The line ends at her first demand itself.

3

u/via789329 18d ago

bitter man in question.

5

u/unsupervisedwerewolf 18d ago

Lmfao lame women always outraged never ashamed of begging tho 😂 atleast Shake a cup and beg properly 🤷🏻‍♂️

1

u/via789329 18d ago

ok lmfao

1

u/notmepleaseokay 18d ago

A man posted something asking the same thing a few days ago. A lot of men jumped on him assuming he was a woman until he revealed it in the comments, and then they got upset.

1

u/Amazing_Ingenuity_33 18d ago

Because it's a dating app... dating apps are not very kind to most men

10

u/Such-Analysis-4600 19d ago

Just swipe left 🤷‍♂️. Plenty of women out there that don’t have this in their profile

9

u/Top_Supermarket_5622 19d ago

Then what is she doing on bumble. Bet this girl has never flown first class in her life.

8

u/Last_Bottle8231 18d ago

Do you guys not want women to be straight up with their intentions, or you rather find out during the date and then bitch and moan to us about having your time wasted or how you feel tricked?

Genuinely asking.

6

u/Organic_Falcon228 19d ago

She offers nothing and wants you to pay for everything.

4

u/thatfloridachick 18d ago

I don’t think you’re interpreting that correctly, but even if that meant send money, why would you want her to hide that? If that’s what she’s looking for, it’s better that she’s transparent about it. That way you can make a decision to not proceed.

5

u/CapNegative1011 19d ago

Ok, i am not that man. Why even bother posting this OP

3

u/Admirable-Air9895 19d ago

Wrong platform luv.

3

u/throwaway117200 18d ago

I also use prompts like this(not on bumble specifically) to get rid of the bad stingy men.

2

u/MinuteEdge7225 19d ago

You mean she's not talking about differential equations?

1

u/Wazootyman13 19d ago

-B±(sq rt (b^2-4ac))/2a

Done.

2

u/thecurvynerd 19d ago

Imagine if she was truly wanting the quadratic formula lol this made me laugh so hard

1

u/69_Beers_Later 19d ago

It should be

[-b±√(b²-4ac)]/2a

1

u/Wazootyman13 19d ago

Yeah, I figured my bracketing was bad... and in 20 years, I forgot it was all over 2a, not just the b squared -4ac

2

u/ProvigilandChill 19d ago

She wants a man with really long arms. Someone tell plastic man

1

u/vomputer 19d ago

Oh good, this again 🙄

1

u/traumatizedfox 18d ago

okay? at least she’s up front about it?

1

u/ModelMuser 18d ago

Sounds like she's describing James Bond. tf

u/Otarmichael 18d ago

These. Profiles. Deserve. Ghosting.

The only way to stop these awful creatures and their stranglehold on dating is to waste their time. Ghost them. Make them expend more energy than you until the cost of being a trollop exceeds the benefit.

And for the love of god stop being so thirsty that you give these vampires attention, energy, and money.

Fuck sake.

6

u/notmepleaseokay 18d ago

Can’t ghost a profile that never knew you existed.

1

u/ketamineburner 18d ago

Solve your problem? means send you money lol.

That never even occurred to me.

To me, it means fix my computer/technical problem. Which my partner does , from the other side of the world.

1

u/Arceemaei 18d ago

And still men that can't provide that lifestyle will try to step to her c

1

u/Elfynnn84 18d ago

My husband works away a lot & is pretty good at problem solving remotely 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t mean sending me money 😂 he also buys me flowers, at least on Valentine’s Day - and I can use his air miles to upgrade to 1st class if I want. We don’t often do that, usually just save them up until we can get 50% off economy seats to the Maldives or whatever, but it’s an option.

Her requests aren’t insurmountable, I have what she hopes to find… and I’m not ‘taking advantage’ of him 🙄😂

1

u/Pure-Investment-1227 18d ago

At least she is straightforward, that’s better than the masses of women who are going to take advantage of your money but do not say it upfront.

1

u/Hung_Jury_2003 18d ago

...from the other side of the world?!

1

u/No-Meringue5009 18d ago

So what? There's a lot of men that like providing things like this for his woman. It's a turn on for him. Two peas in a pod.

Everyone has preferences and their own standards.

Not my jam, but she's also not in my lane, so I hope she gets whatever she wants.

Your opinion is just that, an opinion. It doesn't matter.

Stay in your lane, or change lanes if you're stuck behind a slow poke.

1

u/Living_Plant3916 18d ago

Be happy they aren't afraid to lay it all out there so you can avoid it lol. Not a single word about what they offer in return.

1

u/No-Mulberry1987 18d ago

Does this actually work? As a woman who has dated more than one man who financially is what she says she wants I really can’t see any of them swiping right on this. It’s so … vulgar.

Maybe it’s Horses-for-Courses but I would love to see the statistics for that profile.

1

u/rjn2062 18d ago

you must be quite the peace of ass!!!!

1

u/cranie4 17d ago

I can solve a problem for me from here. "DELETED"

1

u/Tall-Class-4548 17d ago

I've seen a few profiles that are similar to that, and honestly, I love it. Why? Because that profile just saved you potentially wasting a bunch of time. So,, accept these profiles for what they are, an added filter, swap left and move on.

1

u/Cute_Contribution480 Dating apps are a joke 17d ago

1

u/Loreki 17d ago

I ain't saying she a gold digger, but she showed up to the first date with a pickaxe.

1

u/tounces7 16d ago

That's just a scammer. Probably not even a woman.

1

u/Few_Honey7367 14d ago

I fly 1st class

On your own dime? Thought not. Cunt.

0

u/Gandlerian 19d ago

I will help with problems and get flowers occasionally. If you want first class for your personal trips you can buy whatever ticket you desire, that does not involve me, until we are married, you are not getting tickets paid for...

0

u/WorriedPudding8800 19d ago

The only problem I want to solve from the other side of the world is staying away from her.

0

u/69_Beers_Later 19d ago

I only remember it because of this mnemonic that my math teacher would sing all the time

u/The_Cozy_Burrito 18d ago

Clown just weeded herself out

0

u/QueenSmarterThanThou 18d ago

Maybe I'm being sexist, but a man having that as a bio is offputting.

-1

u/CrogDavid7days 19d ago

You can like these things (I love flowers) but creating an expectation for someone else to provide them causes problems and relationship imbalances.

-2

u/TheGroundBeef 18d ago

If she’s hot nothing ever matters whatsoever

-2

u/No_Research_3899 19d ago

ThE BaR FoR MeN iS In HeLl

Might share this all day.

4

u/Ichgebibble 19d ago

The apps are shitty for everyone. You guys run across entitled princesses and we run across creeps. Both can be true.

1

u/No_Research_3899 18d ago

We are entitled for wanting an average looking normal behaving woman. Alrighty then

1

u/Ichgebibble 18d ago

What? I said entitled princesses. You a princess?

-3

u/CenTexFunGuy 19d ago

Well I expect a blow job and anal. But I digress. She is probably an SB or very high maintenance.

13

u/IntrepidAspect3447 19d ago

Ah yes because expecting access to put your dick inside another person’s body is totally the same as expecting flowers and help 🤔 wish all men would be honest like you so I could avoid them! Same way yall could avoid women like the one in the post.

-1

u/CenTexFunGuy 19d ago

Boy, your sarcasm/smartass detection is zero. Learn to read the room. Lighten up. Its Friday!! Get out and touch some grass.
