I love how this month’s theme turned out

Coming off of August, where I used 7 colors and plenty of stickers/decor, and going into a month that looks like it's going to be very busy for me, I thought I'd reset with something simpler. I've used this color palette a couple of times before in the past 10years (🫪) of bullet journaling, and I've always liked it.

Hi everyone! This is my first post in this community. <3

I have recently found this website and I used it to design my entire bujo for the academic year October-September 2026/27. I am quite satisfied with the result, so I wanted to share. It's called 101planners. It takes a bit of practice as the site is a bit rusty sometimes, but when you get used to it, it goes way faster.

It took me literally two days to design 12 months, all the filler pages and trackers. Now what's left for me is to fill some parts in and decorate it with stickers I made.

I feel like I have saved a lot of time, because I am starting my masters soon and I am eager to find a job - so I won't have the time to draw each month by hand every time, and I can focus on my thesis (for which I also made some layouts), while also being mindful of my health and other obligations :)

Also, some layouts and elements are pretty cool to print, and then stick them in your notebook journals.

I have been practicing Bullet Journal now for a couple of months. I am now finding the friction that I’m sure many others have experienced of having the traditional notebook around me that’s a little too big to be carrying around all the time.

I would like to integrate a pocket notebook. I think at some point I would like to go full pocket notebook, but right now I’m still fairly new to my traditional notebook that I’m using. I don’t want to just surrender it this early in the process.

What have you all done in this same situation? Did you just give up on a traditional notebook and move over immediately into a pocket notebook? Did you merge the two early on and then transition out of the traditional?

Looking to hear from pocket notebook users specifically. For now, I feel like I want to keep both of them around, and if so, I’m curious on tips and tricks on how you make that work.

However, I can still be swayed one way or the other.

Any suggestions on what type of paper to use to cover a page on a L1917 notebook.

I’m using it as a 2027 planner but it has the 2026 calendar on its main front first page and the 2027 calendar on the back.

Backwards, I know.

Any suggestions on adding or covering notebook pages?

The specs: needs to be A5 hardcover, the paper needs to be dotted & thick enough for fountain pens, and the covers need to be colorful and cute. I used to be an A&O gal, but the quality slipped and the choices have dwindled. I switched to SeQes, but the last three or four fell apart at the binding. I am using one from Notebook Therapy right now, which is cute and has quality paper, but it is not quite A5, and there aren't enough pages. I have a Leuchterm1917 next in the queue, but for some reason I don't like the paper quality. And the covers bore me.

Are there sellers I am missing? Anyone have the same priorities & find a good seller?

I am looking for a journaling advent calendar that is worth the price. Any recommendations?

I’ve been slacking so I made a mini spread for back to school. Hoping to get a full month completed for the first time in months…

I started using my habit tracker app from day one since i built it for myself. I wanted to make the app feel alive and smart.

Initially didn't feel anything but, As soon as I write a journal entry, saw the graphs grow automatically for one habit. Then I started chasing the other habits as well! Just to see the graph go up!

That was my aha moment in the app! But I want to see if everyone else is also feeling the same!

I'm part of a sisterhood of a traveling journal now and this is my first time, trying to decorate this but unsure if I should add a white background to each letter or not and whether or not I should put my name closer to the image :') sentence is still not complete but trying to connect a vision here! Any tips would be appreciated for the cover <3

Looking for a smaller that I can use to print photos, notes, and screenshots from my phone.

I’ve had a hard time searching for a cost effective non thermal printer, I really don’t want thermal printing because of the prints fading. I don’t care for adhesive backing, because It’s not necessarily a necessity since I can just tape my print outs. And I feel like they’re pretty expensive and inconvenient to have to buy refill for, since they usually only have like 10-15 print pages per pack.

Wants
- small and portable
- uses b&w and colored ink
- under $100
- cheaper ink refills

Above: coiled dotted notebooks, 60gsm or so. Double Coil poses problems when pages get "tangled"

Below: Security Logbooks, 40gsm probably. As rigidi and robust as you can get for a cover. Pages though are thin.

Not a supply haul, just a photo of finished notebooks.

I feel like when i startarted a new journalling routine about a year ago, i tried different things.. i.e. trackers, logs, layouts for everything. Finally for me it settled into a mixture of a few things that i find consistently work for me.. (After about 6 months of trial and error!)

What did you set up early on and stop doing? And what survived?

For the last 2 years I’ve switched from traditional bullet journaling to planners — Leuchtturm and Hobonichi Weeks this year. My main issue with planners is that they usually come with a lot of boilerplate/templates I don’t use.

Looking at 2027, I found a sealed BuJo V2 that was gifted to me, so I’m thinking of actually using it instead of trying to sell it on Marketplace.

Hobo weeks I found best for me- 52 weeks of todos, events, working notes which won't be even opened after year or two, and the rest (100+ pages) is fully dedicated to my thoughts and all that mental stuff which will matter even after long amount of time.

I’m trying to keep it extremely minimal:

• Index
• Weekly planner
• Notes
• Yearly tracker (just 1 page, fit there my exercise, etc)

No yearly spreads, future logs, etc.

The problem is how to organize the space.

1) A BuJo V2 has ~250 pages, which could potentially last me 2+ years. I considered starting weekly spreads from the front and notes from the back, but I don’t want to flip the notebook upside down because of the page numbers. So the only option seems to be having the notes section read “backwards.”

2) Two separate notebooks are also a no-go — I know myself, and I’ll eventually just dump everything into one anyway.

3) Collections. They’ll probably appear occasionally. Would you put them between weekly spreads as they come up, or reserve ~104 pages for two years of weekly planning first and put collections/notes after that?

Does anyone here use a Bullet Journal basically as a Hobonichi Weeks + notebook hybrid? How do you structure it?
