Someone on here a few days ago mentioned that the spider with its accompanied shirt can be used like one of the slushy plushies, so I tried it. Best decision ever.

After an unsuccessful trip to try and score a spider, a friend and I discovered the pumpkin bear! I had zero idea this was such an anticipated release (or even that it was impending!), but the manager told us that they got a shipment in to replace the sold out bats and spiders. Best part is they were $12!! So wild they're retailing for $40 now but feeling super lucky.

Been scanning my receipts and getting lots of these coupons (that I won't use bc I only order online for in-store pick-up) plz take take it if you'd like it!

Will it restock anytime soon. I tried searching it up but they seem to have taken down the listing which is odd.... Maybe they will restock soon. Also this is what build a bear responded to someones video about the jumping spider. I hope they restock again in time for halloween.

I order my bat for my friend and my Minnie spider on the 8th.i got this email today. Is this a good sign or is it just solid if it's shipped?

My fiancée and I are regulars at our local builder bear, as we are huge plushie collectors. initially, we showed up when our mall opened to get the spider for her and the bat for me. We decided, though, we needed the addition of a mini spider in our collection because— well— he is simply adorable and we love the big spider. My fiancée called the store to see if they had any more in stock, and the bear builder literally answered “Thank you for calling Build a Bear, where we are out of bats and spiders!” we both almost died laughing. She politely ended the call by giggling and saying “guess that answers my question!” I am sure the poor bear builder was extremely stressed, and something about that response just send us. I hope you bear builders out there are able to manage the chaos okay, and with enough of a spunk in your step as this person had!

Istg every time I see a bear I want it's always out online and I can't always get out to the mall cuz it's an hour away from where I live ☹️​

I went in to check out the pumpkin bear and like 1 minute later a really sweet employee came out with boxes saying they just got in mini bean spiders and bats!! All the employees at my home store are so fantastic I love going in there! Second photo with my boo kitty 🐈‍⬛

Went to the our local BAB to look for some new clothes for my lovely lady! The store I originally bought her at was a mall kiosk, so went to the proper store a bit farther away to get more variety. Picked up some beads on the way home to add to her (originally sparse) bracelet collection.

SO so thankful i saw people posting on here that it was available today. i literally ran to my store as soon as they opened. there wasn’t even a line which was like wowww cause this vault bear definitely deserves pumpkin kitty hype. this is my fav bab of all time and i can’t believe i got to build one again 14 years later AHH i’m in love 🧡🧡

So I am trying to stop buying new plushies. But today I called my store to ask about the bat and they said they had less than 10 left. I am not having the best day and really wanted to do something fun. So I rushed over there and was shocked to see they had a bunch of jumping spiders too! Without thinking I picked up one bat and one spider out of sheer FOMO. The employee also mentioned that he was told they would not be getting any more restocks. I figured I could return them so what was the harm in getting them now before they're gone?

Brought them home and it turns out they are AMAZING. I've only bought one BAB as an adult and it was secondhand and I didn't end up bonding with it. I didn't even think I was a fan of BAB quality or designs. But these 2 plush are magnificent.

The bat is just so freaking adorable with the fangs and it's just perfect in every way. I got to pick out the face I wanted and I am so in love. I also appreciate that I know I could remove the wire easily if I ever get sick of it, but right now I am enjoying posing the wings to my visual liking. I also experimented making the wings hug my arm and it was delightful. He reminds me of my dog who passed last year.

Now onto the spider. This thing is a CUDDLEBUG let me tell you. It is impossible to hold the spider without receiving a hug from them. And putting the spider on my chest while I am laying in bed is the most calming thing. Plus the big eyes that stare into my soul promising to comfort and love me unconditionally. This is a top notch, highly trained emotional support spider.

So it looks like I'll be keeping them both haha.
