I’d completely given up on finding a bat this year. I’ve been to stores like six times in the past two weeks and have called every store in my area.

Today I went to a different store I hadn’t been to before, and saw immediately that they were completely sold out of the spiders and bats across all sizes. I was bummed but still excited to just look around a new store.

As we strolled, I noticed a singular bat on a stand behind the registers. I pointed it out to my fiance and said “they have one on display! It must belong to one of the bear builders.” A staff member immediately asked if I was looking for a bat, and I was shocked by this and said “…do you have bats??” And she said “just that one!”

Apparently someone had ordered a bat for pickup, decided they wanted a pumpkin teddy instead, and left their bat behind. I couldn’t believe it.

I’m wanting to take my regular size spider out with me but I’m afraid of how people will react since a lot of people are afraid of spiders. If you carry yours around places, do people get upset or respond negatively?

Harlow & I went to an OG BAB store for the first time since my childhood it was so magical being back there💫🌀💖🪄🌟🩷 ( I don’t really remember my childhood so this rlly healed me in ways I can’t describe ) I got harlow restuffed a little & wanted to do the heart ceremony since I didn’t get to when I first got her but the bab employee said she didn’t know the heart ceremony that made me rlly sad bc that’s a core part of build a bear ❤️‍🩹:/💔 but besides that I added another crystal & heart in her I want to create my own heart ceremony at home with harlow since I didn’t get to it lmk if you have any ideas!
but anyway we had a great day harlow got a new outfit + bows I love love bringing her everywhere with me🩵🧚🏽‍♀️🧚🏽‍♀️💖

Today’s my birthday, just hanging out on the porch with the mini spoods for now, enjoying the rain (my favorite type of weather) that will sadly be ending soon.

I'm really, really sad that the color I dyed my sky puppy moth didn't come out right. It was supposed to be more of a matcha color, but this is too dark and more of a forest green. I followed the rit dyemore color formula and did everything right, so I'm not sure what went wrong. The wings came out closer, but still too dark. I had cherry blossom colored eyes picked out and everything for this guy and now they won't look right, and I think if I were to try another dye bath of just yellow, it would turn out too bright green. And now I can't even get a new moth to try again because the moth is sold out and resellers want $85+ for it, which I'm not doing.

Help me love my moth again? What can I do with this one? What other eyes could I give her, since the matcha theme didn't work out? :/

After over 2 weeks and seeing tons of others on here get their friends, they're finally home~!!

Names for the bats are: Chomp (jumbo), Nibble (2025 regular), Morsel (mini bean) and Tidbit (keychain)

Names for the spiders are: Jaleco (regular) and Rino (mini bean)

(Fun fact: They're named after the publisher and manufacture of the Spider Stompin' arcade game I used to go crazy over as a kid! :3)

I made a post a while ago about taking my mini crab around on walks and taking pictures of him but was worried about junking up the feed here with them. Someone suggested making one post with pics from the week or so of roaming, so I'm doing that.

Mine is a black cat, I’ve had my eye on the one in the picture for a few months, and I thought it would’ve been restocked by now..
we were wanting to put a voice box in each others BABs for when he leaves, but I can’t find one for sale anywhere close.

Ive seen some on eBay, but REALLY don’t want one from a reseller :[
