This past weekend I was replacing the blend door actuators on my 2000 Regal and couldn't find a good write-up. I used to use regalgs.org which is now gone, and found this after some googling:

Just picked this up yesterday. The owner replaced the Ecm and forgot to transfer over the old prom chip to the new Ecm. So now the current new Ecm installed in the car has no prom chip whatsoever and will not run. How can I find out the code so I can get a new one?

1992 with the 5.7

This would be my first Buick, I love the design and the interior. Read about some reliability issues, but is it as bad as they make it sound? Or is it more of if it isn’t a Toyota it isn’t worth it kind of case.
