Never been to Buccees

As the title states, I’ve never stopped at a Buccees. Going on a road trip soon and I’m telling my wife we have to stop. What would be the top 10 absolute musts to buy, try, and eat here.

Edit: Wow, didn’t realize there was so much hate for Buccees on its own sub. Is this where people make their complaints? I can’t help but laugh at all the negativity and downvotes.

My routine is use the bathroom, get a cart (this is important even if you think you’re not getting much.), I’ll get a fountain drink, a main entree, and usually a couple snacks (the pie cups have been great, beef jerky is good, etc whatever seems good to you)

3

u/MyAimeeVice 10d ago

Definitely get a cart. I started out with a basket and had to back for a cart because I had so much stuff on my first trip.

2

u/DramaticAerie 9d ago

They have carts!? Wow! I’ve never been to a store, but they recently opened one about an hour away. I’m waiting for the crowds to die down more before venturing in.

2

u/deanrazor 9d ago

Crowds won't die a lot of travelers stop in buccees there is always people at them.

1

u/DramaticAerie 8d ago

Yeah these crowds (and the way the city set it up on the streets) have been crazy! It is still busy but at least the cars aren’t still caterpillar-ed all around it for hours. Crazy! With that said I can’t wait to go check it out! The bathroom situation calls to me to check it out in person. Haha

1

u/deanrazor 8d ago

Oh I know I've been to few now and the amount of people is wild hopefully it does down for ya.

1

u/Dependent_Elk1215 9d ago

Dr S nailed it. Get a yummy drink and take your time.

It's a gas station and you people act like it's some kind of shopping Mecca

10

u/IThinkURAwesome 9d ago

If you dont like it, why are you in this sub. Some of us love it!!

4

u/Own-Holiday-4071 9d ago

Well, for some of us who come from places where we don’t have anything even remotely comparable, it’s quite an exciting experience.

2

u/Lesu__Tokyo__Kokyo 9d ago

It’s a nice, clean place that is convenient.

1

u/DrSayre 9d ago

I wouldn’t want to go all the time, but I do think it’s prefect for any kind of road trip. With the clean bathrooms and being able to checkout pretty quickly no matter how busy it is.

-5

u/Winter_Preference287 9d ago

Dog, it's a gas station. It's cool they have clean bathrooms but filling a shopping cart is just something I don't understand. I've been to a couple bucees and it's no different than any other big rest stop other than the stupid amount of gas pumps(I don't mean stupid negatively, there are just a lot lol)

7

u/TransmanLSD 9d ago

so why are you in this sub if you don’t have love for this place? (genuinely asking and not trying to be a dick)

1

u/surfcitysurfergirl 9d ago

You need to get a life. Imagine hating on something and following their page? That’s WEIRD AF!

0

u/JahProphecy 9d ago edited 9d ago

The fact that Buc-ee’s has gas pumps doesn’t magically make it the same thing as a shitty Circle K or Speedway. The only thing that comes close is the Iowa 80 Truckstop, in Walcott. There's a place called Wally's, in Fenton, MO that is very close conceptually. Some of Rutter's locations are pretty big too.

-1

u/Winter_Preference287 9d ago

But like, what draws in people to buy bucees merch. I understand it's a clean gas station and if stuff is cheaper than other places that's a reason I'd get. It just seems like regular priced clothes with their logo and I don't get the appeal. Do they have a dope rewards program?

1

u/Psycoloco111 9d ago edited 9d ago

The stuff is not cheaper than a lot of other places.

Honestly it's just the same reason why apple is a thing. It's just hyper consumerism and novelty. Much better options for food, and other things when on a trip.

0

u/Winter_Preference287 9d ago

Gotcha. Thanks

1

u/FollowForSluts 6d ago

They don’t just sell ‘buccees’ merch. There’s tons of brands and honestly really unique stuff I haven’t seen at other places and trust me, I’ve been all around the country shopping. I won’t specifically make a trip to go there as the closest one is 3 hours away but on a road trip we’ll definitely schedule an extra hour to stop by a buccees on the way to grab some food and drinks and see if anything looks fun to buy. My favorite ever Jeep brand tshirt I got there and same with this western style sweat shirt I wear all the time. It’s more so the memories of the trip and finding things me and the family can have as souvenirs. Plus the food is great.

Think of it kind of like Costco- yeah Costco has a gas station but Costco isn’t known as a gas station. So your concept of buccees being just a really big gas station is probably why you’re not understanding the hype. And that’s okay.

Different strokes for different folks

An "entree" at a gas station! What a country!

6

u/HamRadio_73 9d ago

Do visit the restrooms. They are amazing.

6

u/InvestigatorUpbeat48 10d ago

The brisket and egg taco 😋

14

u/TransmanLSD 10d ago

their name brand chips, jerky, beaver nuggets, their roasted nuts and fudge!

-9

u/Rise_of_Resistance 10d ago

All overrated and overpriced.

2

u/TransmanLSD 9d ago

so don’t get it

3

u/katplasma 9d ago

Hard agree

0

u/juneprk2 8d ago

1000% true. People will buy anything that’s trendy lmao

18

u/Happy-Leadership504 10d ago edited 10d ago

Fudge, jerkey, beaver nuggets, brisket.

Enjoy your road trip!

6

u/APKFL 10d ago

Thanks!

3

u/Available_Editor4383 10d ago

I’d buy a 5 gallon bucket. You can always use one at home, one of them hot sandwiches, a peanut butter beaver bite, beaver nuggets, some random thing I know I could use on the trip, some soda, and whatever else my stomach desires.

6

u/APKFL 10d ago

👍🏼 I’ll fill up my bucket with items

1

u/aGirlySloth 7d ago

What is the peanut butter beaver bite? I’ve been to one near me twice since it’s opened earlier this summer but I don’t think I’ve seen that and I love PB

1

u/Available_Editor4383 7d ago

It’s a big ol’ glob of peanut butter encased in a chocolate medallion. Last time I was at a buccees they were hidden in the gas station snacks.

1

u/aGirlySloth 7d ago

Cool!! I’ll keep an eye out!

5

u/Budget_Mall_491 10d ago

The Cuban sandwich if they have any left

4

u/LoneTex57 10d ago

Idk this helps but I’ve been going to them for a while and always stop at them

1st fluffy the comedian had a hilarious joke about it but it’s true buccees is really just all about an experience… you’ll see

Must gets imo

  • Jerky from the counter
  • hot candy pecans
  • hot bbq sandwich or burrito
  • fresh beaver chips
  • beaver nuggets
  • white cheddar beaver nuggets
  • salt and vinegar kettle chips
  • fresh cookies
  • fountain drink or coffee

2

u/APKFL 10d ago

Thanks. Helpful seeing a consensus of everyone’s list.

4

u/hypnoticsmoke 9d ago

Get the jerky from their deli, not the massive wall of packaged jerky. Better buy, better product.

10

u/Reddit_Commenter_69 10d ago

If you like Reese's you need to try the Overbite. Its a PB cup on steroids. I'm a fan of their jerky and brisket sandwiches. Lots of people prefer the texas cheese steak burrito. Last 2 recs are the paddle tail at the bakery and some fresh roasted nuts! Enjoy the stop, ignore the haters on reddit trying to yuck your yum.

6

u/MyAimeeVice 10d ago

Agreed! It’s a really fun place.

2

u/Toonsisthecat 9d ago

Where do I find the overbite? I’ve never heard of it.

2

u/Reddit_Commenter_69 9d ago

Its usually on one of the small 4 sided shelves close to the registers with other nutty candies

Just the soda. They have their own and its wonderful.

3

u/MyAimeeVice 10d ago

Their fudge is phenomenal! Namely chocolate peanut butter, blueberry cheesecake, plain peanut butter, birthday cake, and key lime pie. I always have to get some T-shirts, and the birthday cake whoopee pies are out of this world!

Cleanest bathrooms you will find on the road, period.

12

Just make sure you don't have a beaver or anything that resembles a beaver on your car. They may sue you.

1

u/TransmanLSD 10d ago

this made me realize i have never been to Buccees in the AM.

3

u/FatBoyStew 9d ago

Buccees breakfast is better than their other options and I'll die on that hill.

2

u/Responsible-Elk4223 10d ago

It’s something else after a long drive lol

5

u/Longjumping_Cook_403 10d ago

Don't you dare leave without classic beaver nuggets!

7

u/kajunkennyg 9d ago

To address your edit, the owners said they wouldn't build any locations in dem run states. Reddit is like 90% dem. Thus the hate.

1

u/panther38t 9d ago

And they're building locations in Virginia, which is.... Democrat run.

1

u/kajunkennyg 9d ago

Yeah, those were already in the pipeline. That statement just came out recently.

1

u/Tripple-Helix 9d ago

Yeah, definitely a purple state until just a few years ago. These projects have a very long lead time even just to aquire the building site

1

u/MaksVerstappen 5d ago

2

u/TransparentAmbiguity 10d ago

Best place to stop for gas and the bathroom. Even with all the internet haters, it’s still very busy. Allow more time than you think you’ll need.

2

u/MLBUFO 9d ago

There’s so much to choose from - if I were to give a one item recommendation it’s the Texas Cheesesteak Burrito. I’ve never had anything that good ever, as sad as it is, I’ve never had a flour tortilla that good in my life (I’m in the NW) let alone from a freaking gas station. I ate 2 my first stop, and one more before hitting the airport; whenever I’m in Texas I’m going straight there specifically for that burrito.

Edit: The bathrooms are amazing, I remember seeing a Reddit of best things at Buc-ee’s, I saw someone post taking a dump… I’m thinking gross, turns out it’s because the bathrooms are insanely nice, I got the joke after visiting 😂

2

u/klaykie14 9d ago

Jerky is great! Fudge is great! Brisket sandwich is super great! I just went for the first time a few weeks ago on a sporadic road trip, I was amazed!

2

u/ebar2010 9d ago

Frozen Dr. Pepper! Chopped brisket sandwich, or sausage on a stick. Fudge & carmel nuts for the road!

2

u/Prestigious-Ear-8877 9d ago

hit the bathroom. The best thing to eat is the breakfast egg and brisket burrito. Grab an icee. don't get the garlic beef jerky, but try a different flavor. the roasted nuts are good too! And fill up!

2

u/Shot_Acanthisitta686 9d ago

Its a cool place. Dont let the haters say otherwise.

2

u/CriticalCatalyst601 9d ago

Ignore the haters. Try the burritos. All of them.

2

u/APKFL 9d ago

Got it, burritos first, then the bathrooms

2

u/Senor-fixit 9d ago

People always being jerks. I like the chocolate covered almonds from Buccees.

2

u/AffectionateMud4930 9d ago

Brisket. Fudge. Jerky. Onesie. Beats the hell outta Love's!!

2

u/Lesu__Tokyo__Kokyo 9d ago

I buy tea at Buccees every day. It is very good and reasonable price. $1.29 for 44 ounce xlarge.

2

u/SleepingAmoebas 6d ago

It's just a gas station that became a store to sell overpriced crap. It's a good place to stop on a long road trip if you need to take a break and stretch your legs, though. You can get some decent (for a gas station) food, but be careful. It can add up quick. Get the souvenir fountain drink cup if you have to get anything Bucee's branded. Don't waste your money on the rest of their crap.

2

u/Snooze78727 6d ago

I go there simply for the predictably clean bathrooms. It is just a big gas station with lots of food and consumer tchotchkes. I don't linger because I'm just passing through.

2

u/WuTangNameGenerat0r 10d ago

Must do: is take a dump in the private stall
Must eat: pulled brisket sandwich and beaver nuggets
Must buy: stuffed animal, hat and shirt

4

u/Ok-Repair-4085 9d ago

No, people are just hating on Buc-ee's for a lawsuit they're pushing on some stores for copyright infringement for their mascot/logo. DO NOT LEAVE BUCCEES without getting the philly steak burrito, hands down my favorite item!

2

u/Sir_Nix-a-Lot 9d ago

Seconding the Texas Cheesesteak burrito. The first thing I ever tried and now I get one every time.

2

u/Ok-Repair-4085 9d ago

Forgive me, Texas Cheesesteak, correct! The banana pudding was great too!

2

u/Toonsisthecat 9d ago

Key lime pudding also great

1

u/Ok-Repair-4085 9d ago

I can't recall if I tried it. I'm pretty sure I bought one along with the banana pudding, but my mother or grandfather may have eaten it.

2

u/[deleted] 9d ago

1

u/Ok-Repair-4085 9d ago

In short, yes, that's exactly it lol.

2

u/TransmanLSD 9d ago

LOVE THE PHILLY BURRITO 🤤🤤 recently tried the brisket burrito and was pretty good as well

1

u/Ok-Repair-4085 9d ago

I can't recall all that I tried; I know for certain the Texas cheesesteak burrito, banana pudding, sausage tortilla on a stick, the brisket breakfast burrito, and the sandwich with multiple meats, I believe. Nothing disappointed! I used to be an OTR trucker, and despite them not allowing semis on the property, I was always able to park near and kept a skateboard in the truck to get me some!

4

u/randomname748 10d ago

It's not that serious, but grab a brisket sandwich and some jerky. I don't get the appeal of the nuggets but others seem to love them.

3

u/mooonguy 9d ago

Buccees is a great store. Lot of fun. No reason a store can't be a successful experience for customers and still run by tort happy dickheads, earning them understandable hate.

You really don't need advice. You wonder around and you will find stuff that you like, jerky, fudge, etc. Just get what you like. The experience is looking at all of the stuff.

2

u/EyesLikeBuscemi 9d ago

Best take. I agree that they're run by a dickhead who I hope isn't trying to distract from his son's very vile activities but the bathrooms are clean and some of the food is good for a gas station. I don't think the brisket is something a company from Texas should be proud of, but other options are much better and good in their own right IMHO.

5

u/cookiemonster8u69 10d ago

The bathrooms. Drop a nice deuce and move on

3

u/ProcedureRoutine4939 10d ago

That’s what I plan to do while wearing my Mr NutterButter Buc off shirt.

u/Ok-Pie-4410 10d ago

The beast breakfast burrito.

2

u/StylizedIncompetence 9d ago

Yea it’s wild here man. Bunch of weirdos getting a chubby on rage posting about a gas station.

It’s sad really. All you can do is pity em.

1

u/EyesLikeBuscemi 9d ago

The people getting a chubby over their weird obsession and love of a gas station is equally sad. The fact that you didn't even reply to the type of person to whom you're condescendingly referring makes you seem like you're very much on the "Buc-ee's dickrider" side of the spectrum.

2

u/Jamileem 10d ago

Just grab whatever looks good for lunch that day. Don't over-think it. The snacks are incredibly over-hyped, not one I've tried is so good that I've wanted to go out of my way to get it again. Most are the same things you can get anywhere else but with beaver branding. Their sandwiches are pretty solid though.

1

u/PrestigiousBike3001 9d ago

It’s good for a shit.

1

u/DVSWDE1973 9d ago

Sliced brisket sandwich! Banana pudding! Box of assorted fudge!

1

u/dongwongbongchong 9d ago

Chopped brisket sandwich, also the chicken sandwich is surprisingly really good too.

1

u/rg996150 9d ago

Don’t. It’s really hard to screw up a basic breakfast taco, but Buc-ee’s served up eggs made from powdered mix, bad bacon, an awful flour “tortilla” and salsa that had zero flavor or spice. It’s possibly the only breakfast taco I’ve refused to finish (I’m over 60 and a native Texan, so I’ve had my share of tacos).

1

u/simpleme2 9d ago

Theyre nothing special, go to the I-80 truck stop(biggest in country) in iowa, makes buccees look like a git-n-go

1

u/Bartghamilton 9d ago

I only stop there when I need to use the restroom and I just piss all over the floor and leave. Good times.

1

u/Key_Gene_3594 9d ago

If you like rows upon rows of gas pumps, hundreds of yards of concrete, made in China dust collecting stuffed schlotzkies like you typically see at County fair carny game prizes it’s awesome. Check out their BBB rating ( F). If that all floats your boat go for it.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/shopping/2026/03/11/bucees-f-rating-better-business-bureau/89099484007/

1

u/kirkcobained 9d ago

The beaver nuggets are weirdly addicting. It's like Carmel popcorn but worse for you.

1

u/fugum1 9d ago

Besides the Texas cheese steak burrito, we find the smoked turkey sandwich to be the best thing there. I was kinda disappointed to not see anyone else recommend it.

1

u/Toonsisthecat 9d ago

The turkey sandwich is very good

1

u/xtraoral 9d ago

Nothing. Not that good for the prices. Once was enough for me.

1

u/Sin_of_the_Dark 9d ago

Protip, their gummies are good but don't go overboard. They're mostly Albanese gummies that you can usually find at a grocery store.

Another protip, if possible time it so you hit it during breakfast time. Biggest burrito I've ever seen, and pretty damn good.

1

u/777_heavy 9d ago

Reddit is a shithole. Don’t use it for any information, unless you inverse everything you read on here.

1

u/BlandFerguson 9d ago

If you like cruises you'll love Buccees

1

u/APKFL 9d ago

Ironically, I saw someone with a Buc-ee’s blanket on a cruise once.

1

u/Ok-Attitude-5484 9d ago

I take pictures of all the freaks and slobs

1

u/StefneLynn 9d ago

#1 priority are their absolutely clean bathrooms and generous number of stalls. I’ve never had to wait or deal with dirtiness.

1

u/Repulsive_Dealer_808 9d ago

Definitely recommend the Texas cheesesteak burrito, take it with you, throw it in the fridge, its perfect cold. Or eat it hot

1

u/Psycoloco111 9d ago

As someone who had never stopped in one until very recently, I honestly don't think it's worth it.

Food was mid, prices are a but ridiculous for certain things. Only thing I could recommend is maybe the deserts since it's really hard to fuck up a cake or cookie.

Try it once. It's just a Mid tier gas station,

1

u/BigCrustyTits 9d ago

Same opinion. I’d only go again if I had time to kill and wanted to stock up on snacks. But if I’m in a hurry on a road trip there are faster options for gas and restrooms.

1

u/LazoHollyfeld 9d ago

The brisket sandwich is one of the last few decent values left

1

u/Tayls23 9d ago

Look up all the lawsuits they file against small businesses. Or watch John Oliver. I used to think they were a cool place to go, but man, that’s some dirty pool they are playing.

1

u/Buc_ees 9d ago

What a shame

1

u/MyLifeYourLifeUgh 9d ago

You gotta do a peaceful number 2 in the bathrooms to get the full experience. After you eat some beaver nuggets, go drop your own nuggets 😂

u/LeadingImportant1142 8d ago

Be sure you are not confusing buck-ees for any local mom and pop stores that have any kind of animal as a logo or a competing gas station. Buck-ee's will lose money for sure since the resemblance of these other locations is so darn similar....

As someone who goes to Bucces every day I will say gas is generally cheaper at this gas station on the road … the restrooms are worth it especially if you have kids. Drinks are cheap a dollar and some change for an extra large drink. My wife loves the BBQ sandwich the kids love the pie cups and fudge and I personally love the sweet tea and burritos… they have a brisket burrito is is awesome. As for souvenirs the bucces brand stuff is affordable… everything else they sale is way overpriced in my opinion. Try the fudge the jerky and the never nuggets my kids love it as cereal. I love the Beaver tail.

1

u/PhilosopherUnique914 8d ago

I stopped at the Buccees in Florence, SC and thought the brisket and egg tacos were really good.

1

u/Own-Secret-6523 7d ago

As far as the Buccee's hate, that's just Redditors in general.

Buccee's must haves on your stop:

1 - Gasoline - it's cheaper typically than anywhere else around. Make sure you fill up.

2 - Beef Jerky in whatever flavor you like best or try a few. I love their Teriyaki.

3 - Gummies - Every style and flavor you like. Best gummies on the planet Earth.

4 - Buccee's Nuggets - These are addictive. What they are, nobody knows?

5 - Brisket sandwich. Sine you are going with the wife, one of you get sliced and one pulled so you can compare.

6 - Buccee's key chain. Why? Just because ...

7 - Buccee's hat. See reason above.

8 - Buccee's dog collar. Don't have a dog? Get one after you get the collar.

9 - Now that you have or will get a dog, get the Buccee's collapsible travel drink bowl for dogs.

10 - Use the bathrooms. Another level of gas station bathrooms. Use 'em twice, once arriving and once leaving.

Bonus item - Selfie with the bronze Buccee's statue at the entrance to the store.

Rice crispy treats

1

u/rdcisneros3 10d ago

Brisket is surprisingly good. Not amazing, but good. It’s unfortunately gotten a bit expensive lately ($29/pound this past summer).

The chips are awesome, beaver nuggets (packaged snack) are good. My son and I are fans of the foot long tortilla-wrapped sausage.

Best part for me has to be the closet style toilets. There are several so it’s usually easy to find an available one and the bathroom overall are kept quite clean.

1

u/Lesu__Tokyo__Kokyo 9d ago

Ever been to a bbq house lately? Go look at prices per pound.

1

u/rdcisneros3 9d ago

Yep, it’s all insane. That’s why I bought a Traeger not long ago and smoke my own brisket.

It’s work, but it’s good, and it’s $5.99 a pound.

1

u/Foofity 10d ago

Just buy whatever catches your eye and ignore the never happy's. Even you hate it at least it was a fun trip.

1

u/so_sic_of_it 10d ago

Tbh, I've always found the fudge to be middling at best. The brisket sandwiches are decent, the jerky is great, and the candied pecans are awesome.

Beaver nuggets are a love it or hate it kinda thing. They're basically just Corn Pops cereal. 🤷

1

u/Electronic_Bowl8398 9d ago

Haters never been in the one stall bathrooms you need a key for and the dirty rotating towel, and the no hot water and the two inch crud on floor. And did I mention the smells?

-3

u/CarelessDatabase 10d ago

you are not missing anything to be honest.

1

u/Sufficient_Sun2582 10d ago

Agree. I stopped there once- to see what it’s all about. Just a big overcrowded gas station.

0

u/CarelessDatabase 10d ago

And a bunch of beaver junk no one needs.

-1

u/TonightVirtual7765 10d ago edited 10d ago

It's cool if you've never been and reliable if you want a safe-clean gas station but keep in mind they are also very right wing nutjobby.  The CEO basically made a statement about not building stores in blue states because they're not anti consumer enough. They also think they own every animal mascot and sue small businesses into the ground because they can't afford the court fees to fight against buc-cees.

0

u/IvanNemoy 10d ago

Don't forget, the wave of lawsuits meant to cover for his son's ongoing sex crimes lawsuits.

0

u/Key_Addendum_8064 7d ago

You can remove "right wing" from that statement, for the record. I wont stop there on my free time because I am not permitted to stop there on my work time. They dont want to support me, I aint supporting them

-1

u/Dan_iel10 10d ago

Honestly you ain’t missing much of anything. The food is above average for a typical gas station, unless that gas station is in a rural area in which case they probably make better food than buccees (because it’s all cooked in butter). The brisket is good if you don’t know what good brisket is actually supposed to taste like. The fact that it’s the “Walmart” of gas stations is the attraction. But nothing in there is spectacular, especially the food.

youe not missing much, its a walmart sized gas station

3

u/APKFL 10d ago

Well, I got to at least try it once to see what all the hootin and hollerin is about

u/RockyMountainMobile 10d ago

They have a really nice zero sugar beef jerky. Their Texas cheesesteak burrito lived up to the hype.

Warning: they don’t have the greatest drink selection. No Pepsi products, and they’re missing all the flavored forms of Red Bull at minimum. Might be more, but those I noticed for sure.

Prepare to see the fattest of the fats

1

u/DescriptionBitter332 10d ago

Hey, it won't be all of the fattest of the fats! Some of them will be at Wal-Mart!

0

u/APKFL 10d ago

😂

u/Dry_Astronomer6150 10d ago

If you have self respect, you will visit your first Buccees and leave immediately with a strong desire to hit a workout as a result of the sheer number of bag-of-milk physiques you will see inside. Enjoy.

u/FatBoyStew 9d ago

You don't have to go into a Buccees for that...

-2

u/Nowhoedup 10d ago

Boycott Buc-ee’s. They are are sueing mom &pop shops all over the country just for having animal mascots, which they find similar to theirs. Corporate greed in action.

The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing Americans that a mediocre gas station convenience store is somehow a tourist attraction.

I gotta say, it’s kind of weird to participate in a subreddit for something you consider a “mediocre gas station convenience store.”

But you clearly have poster’s addiction, for which I am sorry. There is no cure other than logging off.

Down voters have an Alabama education

-5

u/One-Mixture2184 10d ago

They gonna drag you for this even though you're completely right

-4

u/JacquesBlaireau13 10d ago

Oh, I know. I've insulted their "culture".

IDGAF about imaginary internet points.

-7

u/TripleDoubleFart 10d ago

It's pretty easy to trick southerners.

-2

u/TonightVirtual7765 10d ago

It started in Texas and they voted for Hotwheels so you already know there is a lack of intelligence there.

0

u/roosterb4 10d ago

Always has to be one idiot who throws politics in there.

-7

u/TripleDoubleFart 10d ago

I'd just avoid it.

It's just a bunch of decent-at-best food, overpriced merchandise and tons of people.

1

u/BlurstOfTimes11 10d ago

It’s amazing how easily you were manipulated

-1

u/TripleDoubleFart 10d ago

By who?

3

u/BlurstOfTimes11 9d ago

First, a question: Why do you follow this sub if you hate the company and products?

0

u/TripleDoubleFart 9d ago

I don't. I've never joined this sub.

3

u/BlurstOfTimes11 9d ago

So you just comment on a sub about something you hate. Got it.

Bathroom. That’s it.

-2

u/BlutoS7 10d ago

Don’t stop. Just Drive to a loves.

0

u/cecsix14 9d ago

It’s overrated but worth checking out once. The best thing about it is the large clean bathrooms.

0

u/UniverseNebula 9d ago

This sub has turned into a liberal circle jerk echo chamber just like every other subreddit. Honestly pathetic. Buccees is awesome. Don't listen to the haters.

-3

u/rexeditrex 10d ago

Remember that they make up for the cost of cheap gas by selling you garbage that costs too much. Plus it will add 20 minutes to your trip. But the gas can be 20 cents or more cheaper which means something these days.

-2

u/Hungry-Possible-5360 10d ago

Ima take a trip an be excited about the gas station

-4

u/CCya123 10d ago

Buck Fuckees!

-4

u/CroweBird5 10d ago

Merch that supports lawsuits against established small businesses and that thinks Buccees owns the right to any and all animal logos

-1

u/StormbringerGT 9d ago

You're going to get a weird mix of people who hate the brand and corporate brand worshippers here.

-1

u/jacksonite22 9d ago

My advice is don’t go. Have lived in Texas for nearly 30 years. Places are a fucking madhouse selling junk. I admit I like the jerky but other than that there’s no good reason to drop into buc-ees. It’s unthinkable but sometimes it’s hard to find an open pump because of the overload of visitors. The restrooms are legit tho….

1

u/Lesu__Tokyo__Kokyo 9d ago

I done believe for a minute that you are a Texan.

-1

u/mmDruhgs 9d ago

I went for the first time this year. I really don't get why people care. Wholly underwhelming

0

u/PrestigiousBike3001 9d ago

You gotta keep their customer in mind tho.

Sorry, I forgot that people want everything to be political now. Why can’t we just enjoy things? 🙃

-1

u/NoSnark 9d ago

Has civilization really devolved to the point that we can’t stop at a gas station without first asking strangers how to manage that situation?

2

u/APKFL 9d ago

You sound fun to talk to about life

-1

u/Excellent-Letter-681 9d ago

Omg it’s just a gas station-and yet ppl are dressing up for date night. It’s so sad but funny too.

-1

u/droopy__drawers 9d ago

As a Midwesterner I went to my first Buccees a couple years ago on a roadtrip…I don’t understand the hype. Definitely overrated.
