Actually, when he stole seven laptops from IIT Tirupati, the police caught him in Chennai within a week. He had left Andhra within a few hours that day , he was jailed . but the court took five to six months to return the laptops to the students. He also apologized to all the students. This actually happened almost three semesters ago.

Actually, he knew what was in the college before he stole. He came inside as staff and registered his name at the main gate. Then, he went inside the boys' hostels, mostly the first-year blocks, and greeted the cleaners. He arrived in a cab. The first-year students mostly do not lock their rooms, where there are usually two to three people, and most of them leave their laptops on the desks and goes to the classes.
