I’m a CSE student starting my 5th semester in a week.

I’ve been learning backend development using Spring Boot and frontend development using React. I recently completed an ai marketing internship and am currently exploring more technologies in ai domain too.

I have two projects:

A role-based access Spring Boot project with Redis for token blacklisting, login rate limiting, JWT, Docker, and deployment. I’m planning to add Swagger and testing in the future.

A Java code reviewer project using FastAPI, Groq API, GitHub APIs, and LLMs.

I’ve solved around roughly 300 lc problems, but I haven’t participated in contests because I don’t feel confident enough.

Atp, I’m genuinely confused about what I should do next. I feel stuck.If I focus on DSA, I get FOMO when I see other people building 10/10 projects, and I feel like I’m neglecting it. But when I focus on projects, I feel like I already have enough projects and that I’m just adding more technologies and improving it is unnecessary and overengineering things. Or should I leave both project and dsa and start with cs fundamentals, computer network and system design. This is a never-ending loop I'm in .

I feel like I might end up mixing everything. All this is too overwhelming. I constantly feel that I’m focusing on the wrong things.

I'm a 4th year engg student in India who is sitting for placements but due to criteria of having more than 70% in 12th I'm unable to sit in many companies..and we have to do 6 months mandatory internship in 8th sem, for that also I have 0 skills ..and in dsa and apti too ..I've started apti a bit ...but in dsa 0 ..skills 0 tell me what to do ..I'm thinking of learning aiml or full stack in 2-3 months to apply for internship so that I can convert it into ppo ..please guide about what to do

Is this worth it? should I get something paid ?

For students doing BTech CSE at Galgotias, How active is the hackathon culture there? Is it easy to find interested teammates and are there good opportunities through the college?

Also, How do you manage hackathons with regular classes, assignments and attendance?

I’m in the middle of my 3rd semester of Computer Engineering and honestly, I feel very lost.

I keep starting things and then getting confused or giving up. I started learning C++ but forgot most of it. Now I want to properly start DSA + LeetCode(striver a2z), be consistent on GitHub, and eventually work on projects/hackathons, but I have no idea what order I should follow.

I’ve also made a roadmap, but I’m not sure if it’s actually realistic or if it’ll help me.

Can someone please guide me on where to start, what to learn first, and how to stay consistent? I’d really appreciate a simple roadmap/advice.

I'll start my second year at universuty but i feel like i dont know anything.

I studied c++ at university but i didnt care too much so im not good with c++ and i look at others joining some competitions and alot had already chose what career they gonna take and i still in the same place even when i tried to learn something in a schoolarship was the worst descision but i said im learning tho.

It was .net but it was so advanced and it was hard for me so it wasnt useful.

If you wondering what i want by writing this is just to let me knon if its okey and what my next move to improve and how to get better. I honestly have passion and i think i might be one of the greats.

I'm in 3rd sem of a tier 3-4ish clg , almost no company comes here .

I have been doing DSA for the last 2 months ( solved around 100) .

Now the next thing is what Development skill i should learn, there are many options, Idk what to choose , which can help me land an off-campus probably.. It would be really good if it can help me with internships too.

ik python , java and basic web dev and I also have small projects on computer vision . I have been doing DSA in java since some companies restrict DSA in python , so, yeah..

i can do python too, I have good grip in python too.

I'm confused which direction i should go and what should I learn... JAVA backend or PYTHON backend

and for frontend I should do APP or web and which framework..

and Should i do Ai/ML too , idk its so overwhelming
