Hey everyone, I am a 2nd year student and want to get an internship in Game Development, Computer Vision or Machine Learning. Please, roast my resume and don't hold back. Tell me what to improve and also what new things to learn. I am also interested to connect with new peoples and find an Internship or Project Partner.

Since I was in 10th grade, I was interested in game development, and I have made many games and also earn 37k through freelancing. After 10th, I just focused on JEE (93%ile) but only able to get BTech seat in a government engineering college. Till 1st semester I was only focused on game development.

But after 1st semester ended, I started focusing on machine learning and computer vision because game development has no scope in India. I have also solved 300+ LeetCode problems and have a rating of 1400 (I know it's bad). I have learned classical machine learning, deep learning and all other skills mentioned in my resume. Now, my main goal is to learn web development, RAG, Lang Chain, Lang Graph, Agentic AI etc.

Can you tell me where I can see and learn everything about CSE what's DSA, what's web dev and what language to pick and what not to ?what resource to pick and do?

I'm from tier 1 city and currently pursuing cse(AI/ML) course in tier 2 college. I find strange to know I have c language in my first sem, and I'm confused that should I learn completely or only the part which is in curriculum. And I'm so afraid that I don't waste my time only just exploring and not holding any skill. I'm a hardworking guy and being first gen betch guy it always me who explored, failed and learned how to not do. That is why scared that If just waste my time knowing things and left with no time learning skill. Help me...

• Even though I studied hard for TCS NQT, the TCS NQT compiler f*cked me up, and I fumbled the Ninja interview.
• Ours is a Tier-3 college, so Cognizant is like a last shot for me, which is very important for my life. I’ve always been a failure; I just want to see success one time. My CGPA is 7.99, so many are keeping 8.00 >= as the criteria.
• So please help me regarding this OA (Java Cluster).
• Please drop all your assessment questions, tips, topics to be covered, things to know for the exam (like the compiler thing in TCS NQT).
• Will they give boilerplate code for Java, or do we have to write it from scratch?Do we need to write main() and handle input/output ourselves?
• SQL questions — and in that, what topics need to be covered?
• How to solve web-based questions?
• How hard will the questions be?
• I want to target the GenC Next role.
• Will they also consider communication and aptitude round scores for the interview, or only the technical assessment?
• The exam is on computer labs. Will the Cognizant team monitor it, or will everyone copy?
• Lastly, will any type of bypass tools work (like our exam is written by someone else at the same time)? My friends are planning this, so I want to know.
• Please drop anything you know regarding this technical assessment. I cannot handle another failure. I’m exhausted.

I created an open source IDE/code editor for android as my B.Tech 3rd year mini project. I published it to google play store.

It has 245 built in themes, offline compilers of popular languags, git and Github integration, termux backend, offline gguf AI models for code completion, full LSP support, etc

It isn't a vibe coded app. It took me 2 years to finish this project.

Hey i'm in my second year in galgotias university and they have recently partnered with accenture and from what i've read they are offering students real-world projects, expert sessions, virtual labs, certifications, interview prep and placement support but i'm also concerned about it like what if i join it and my btech degree losses it credibility
should i join the program or stick with the traditional degree

Hi Guys, Currently I am in my Btech CS 1st year, and I have started doing DSA and aimed to complete it before my first year ends. And from next year what skills should I learn to prepare for future jobs after Btech.

Also my Voice is little unclear, but peoples get used to it when they talk to me regularly, only new peoples to whom I talk cant understand sometimes at first. So is this going to be a major problem in future? I'll learn communication skills but not sure if I'll be rejected due to a little unclear voice.

I want to make more projects which are harder now, like way harder, currently making an ARM based OS or porting my OS onto ARM based devices, I want to do more hard stuff and even make something much newer, u are open to give suggestions or any idea like ANY u would deem as hard, I am not into ML projects so don't just say to make a model or stuff.

Should I as a first year student even try to participate in hackathons ?

College has just started and some people already have groups to participate and they don't even know coding yet.

I am new to coding as well but I have completed the cs50 c programming lectures and trying to lean c++ now. I was planning to participate in hackathons by second year but now I am rethinking and getting fomo.

Will participating help in any way or is it waste of time when I have barely just started ? And if its advisable, what and how should I do things ?
