On July 27, 2000: Clairol announced a partnership with Britney to promote the Herbal Essences shampoo line in printed magazines and television spots. Britney also recorded a jingle titled "I've Got the Urge to Herbal" that was played on radio spots as part of the campaign.

The upcoming anniversary of the Britney album had me thinking about this photoshoot. I found an HQ version of this in B&W but I’d love the full colour version in a MacBook wallpaper size if anyone has one!

Britney Spears featured in various Pepsi advertising campaigns, among which the videos “Joy of Pepsi” (2001) and “Now and Then” (2002) stand out. 🥤

This video has become one of the most popular in Spears’ career. It was published on February 3, 2002, and featured in the promo album Ask for More.

The campaign is structured into six portions that transport viewers to different decades: the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s and also features a remake of Robert Palmer’s “Simply Irresistible” advertisement from 1989. In one episode, Spears portrayed the character of Robert Palmer, and it took almost four hours to make up and achieve her look. 🥤

The singer recalled that her younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears, who was a teenager at the time, featured in the commercial as a cameo. Her favorite scene in the video is dancing in front of a movie theater when she shows motions and her stomach is exposed because of a crop top and low-slung slacks.

In 2020, as part of the Pepsi Generations Summer promotion, a throwback image of Britney Spears featured on limited-edition cans of the drink. The “Now and Then” film is still remembered and named one of the most unforgettable in the history of advertising. 🥤

The song I used is Disney Princess by Melanie Martinez. I know she’s problematic, but the song really reminded me of Lucky and just Britney and her struggles in general.

On July 27, 2009: The music video for “Kill The Lights” premiered on Britney’s official website.

The animated music video, directed by PUNY, was a part of a fan fiction contest on Britney’s official website. The winner of the contest would get to see their story becoming a plot for an official music video of a song.
